Hey PH community 👋
We've been trying to solve our own productivity problem for a long time. It started with daily calls on Google Meet, then we kept improving how we do those calls, how we define our tasks, plan our weekly sprints, manage our backlog...
Once we found a system that worked for us, we decided to turn it into a platform.
That's how @Doneas was born.
It's become part of my daily routine. My day starts with @Doneas. I check my tasks, what I did yesterday, and what I am doing today.
And the daily accountability calls with other entrepreneurs is probably my favorite part. We meet every day and answer two simple questions: What did you do yesterday? What are you doing today?
We share our progress, talk about our tasks, and sometimes realize we're facing the same problems: you get advice, new ideas, and sometimes solutions from founders who've been through the same thing.
We built Doneas.com because we needed it ourselves. And now we're really excited to share it here.

@amraniyasser I love that this grew out of something you needed yourselves. Having a weekly plan is one thing, but those daily calls help me actually follow through. Doneas has genuinely changed how I approach my tasks and goals, so I'm excited to see more people discover it :)

I run a digital marketing agency, so my weeks fill up quickly with client projects, follow-ups and ideas for growing the business. I've always struggled with staying organized, and being busy doesn't necessarily mean I'm getting the right things done
Doneas has really changed how I approach my work, my tasks and my goals. Planning my week and breaking it down into daily tasks helps me focus on what I can realistically get done, instead of writing a huge list and hoping I'll somehow get through it. I'm achieving much more than I used to!!!!
I also really appreciate the daily accountability calls with other founders. You get to know what everyone is working on and develop a special bond through showing up for each other. That human connection is a big part of what makes Doneas valuable to me.

How do the daily calls actually work? Do we just talk about our tasks?
@oussama_nakhil Each call is 15 minutes with the same small circle of founders. We share what we did yesterday, what we're working on today and anything we're stuck on.
Tasks give the conversation a starting point, but we also talk through problems and help each other out. Sometimes someone has already faced the same issue and has useful advice. That's been one of my favourite parts of it :)

@bengeekly @rania_rimali Taking a shot at solving productivity is a bold bet, especially for solo founders who often struggle with the compounded challenges of staying focused, prioritizing, and actually shipping!
I really like the accountability angle here. How do you make sure people consistently show up for their daily calls? And what does a typical session look like in practice?
Thank you Dounia! From my experience, having the same small circle makes a big difference. You get to know each other and notice when someone's missing, so showing up feels like a commitment to people rather than another task on your list. Attendance also counts towards the leaderboard. I'm at 85% myself, so definitely not claiming perfection :)
A typical call is 15 minutes: what did you do yesterday, what are you working on today, and where are you stuck? That keeps it focused, while leaving room to share advice or talk through a problem with someone who's faced it before.
@rania_rimali Thank you, makes a lot of sense; If you build a sense of belonging to a community through this system, accountability will come as well !
Also, feeling like you can have someone help you out as well, brainstorm with you when you are stuck, is an extra motivation to show up !!

@amraniyasser I will definitely give this a shot, i just need to know when the meetings happen, at what time of the day ? i am not an early bird, so would definitely struggle if it's an early morning cadence :)
