I generally use Keep to manage simple tasks or for short notes. Doesn't really compete much with what I use Evernote for (class notes, project ideas, etc).
For me its all about speed and ease of use. I'm not someone who has structured notes, so all those extra features only slow me down. Keep is as simple as it gets, and I know it'll be there no matter what device I use. Highly recommend you give it a try if you haven't already
