"works, researches, and gets things done" is broad enough to describe half the agent launches this month. what's the one task category where this actually beats a general-purpose agent like a Claude or GPT wrapper with tools bolted on, versus where it's just a nicer UI on the same underlying capability?
@omri_ben_shoham1 well the thing is it helps in connecting local files to your LLMs too , and the architecture to keep track of your outreach mails and make your LLM deal with it without human interaction i guess that something intresting, altho i still believe i can make it just more than LLM + tool stuff but for now i just identified a problem that solve something i feel as a real problem

Makes sense, and honestly 'sales and outreach' is still a narrower bet than 'general agent' even if it's broader than what I suggested. Out of research, excel/data work, and outreach triage, which one are you making genuinely reliable first before layering the others on top? Trying to be great at all three at once from day one usually means none of them are quite trustworthy yet.
@omri_ben_shoham1 firstly i made pixie for my college TnP department, then i got idea oh i can develop it into something outreach and sales, so for now i am gonna develop it into outreach triage for now other two will be secondary!

@Ath Tripathi that outreach-mail angle is actually the more interesting half of what you said, not the local-file connection part. an agent that reads incoming outreach, decides what needs a human and drafts the rest without you babysitting every thread is a much narrower and more defensible job than 'general agent'. would you build Pixie around just that outreach-triage use case specifically, or keep it broader and let that be one of several workflows?
@omri_ben_shoham1 to be honest that outreach stuff is what i want to build pixie around but not just that, i want the research portion involved too, the excel data you collected that needed to be shown or analyzed, i want pixie to collect the outreach queries, the data i have and all stuff to make one stop helper agent for anyone in sales and outreach
honestly the gmail tracking is super useful but it would be great if pixie could also handle follow up sequences automatically, like send a second email if no reply after a few days. that would save me a ton of manual work.

Tested the Gmail outreach tracking and it actually shows opens and replies in one tidy view, which beats juggling spreadsheets. Cold email drafts felt surprisingly on point for a one-click start.

A LinkedIn integration would be a natural next step since a lot of outreach and prospect research still happens there. Being able to sync contacts, send connection requests, or pull profiles directly into Pixie would save a ton of tab switching.
@berfindang69225 Yes i would love to integrate linkedin next, that what i am working on right now, X and linkedin are my first target!
