3. We correlate, not attribute. Our data shows that brands with high AI visibility see:
Increased branded search volume (users remember you and search directly later)
Higher direct traffic over 3-6 month periods
Better performance in traditional SEO (Google rewards cited sources)

The "aha" moment usually comes from one of three triggers:
1. The traffic drop that can't be explained.
They see organic traffic declining—sometimes significantly—but their rankings in traditional SEO tools look fine. Keywords are still #1, but clicks are down. That's when they realize people are getting answers directly from AI without clicking through. This is the most common trigger.
2. The competitor discovery.
Someone on the team searches for a industry term in ChatGPT "just to see" and notices a competitor is mentioned while they're not. Or worse—the AI recommends a competitor instead of them. That creates urgency fast.
3. The client question.
For agencies, it's often a client asking: "I saw this AI answer thing—are we showing up there?" When the agency can't answer because they have no data, that's when they go looking for a solution.
Before that? It feels abstract. After? It becomes a concrete problem that needs solving.
