It's a tool for entrepreneurs and creators, who want to change the way they work and create. It allows you to record voice notes, transcribe, format using GPT, and act on them immediately, without getting back to your computer.
Hi everyone! I'm thrilled to introduce my first mobile app, SpeechZap, designed for those who want to transform the way they work and create.
I have a crucial daily routine: taking a walk after lunch. It helps me clear my mind, organize my thoughts, solve dilemmas, and plan for the rest of the day. I used to jot things down on my phone, but I wanted to cut down on screen time. After trying many voice recorders, I couldn't find one that met all my needs, such as:
- Sending transcriptions to webhooks
- Offering transcription services with options for concise note-taking
- Working offline, as I often lose internet connection in the mountains
- Keeping the original audio for review if needed
That's why I created SpeechZap—an offline-first app available on Android, iOS, and the web. It features:
1. High-Quality Transcriptions: Powered by AssemblyAI, ensuring accurate speech-to-text conversion.
2. Automated Formatting: Use GPT to quickly format transcripts into predefined formats, like to-do lists or social media posts.
3. Automatic Title Generation: Easily find and organize your notes with automatically generated titles.
4. Webhook Integration: Send your notes to various systems, such as note-taking apps, WordPress, to-do lists, and more, all while walking, biking, or driving.
I'm excited to hear your thoughts! Please feel free to comment, discuss, and try out SpeechZap. Let me know how it transforms your workflow!

💡 Bright idea
When I suddenly have a thought or idea in my mind and I want to note it down such that my entire team is aware of it, this app is going to be a game-changer! Congratulations on the launch!
@ashrita_kumar actually, that's a great idea to share these notes with your team right in the app. I'm adding this to the roadmap: https://speechzap.canny.io/featu...
In the meantime you can use webhooks (SpeechZap Actions) to send the note to Notion, Asana, Trello, etc.
Thanks a lot!
@iamjasonlevin Haha, I appreciate the enthusiasm! 😉 No need to give me all your money, just your support and feedback. I'm glad SpeechZap is exactly what you've been looking for!
@konradjx I'm glad it fits your needs! It is already possible to connect with Asana using webhooks (SpeechZap Actions). You can use Make or Zapier to integrate with thousands of apps. If that is not enough (although it's extremely flexible) you can request for a feature in my roadmap: https://speechzap.canny.io/
Also, I have some videos in polish on how to create integrations using my favourite Make. You can find them here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist...
I hope that helps!

It's look promising, I will definitely try it, webhooks seem particularly interesting.
Congratulations on launching the application.
@pawels Thank you, Paweł! Webhooks indeed add a lot of flexibility and can greatly enhance your workflow.
If you have any questions or need assistance while using the app, feel free to reach out. I appreciate your support and look forward to your feedback!

Recording made in Android app doesn't sync to browser account. It *does* work the other way round, however.
@dfoster thank you for catching that one, Danny!
They do sync now, although not automatically. When viewing all the recordings on desktop, go to the top-right corner, click on the three dots icon, then choose "Sync recordings". On mobile you just need to pull down on the recordings view.
I've already added auto-sync to my roadmap: https://speechzap.canny.io/featu...
I hope that solves the problem!
