Hi Everyone! 👋
Daryna from ViewedIt here. If you signed up for ViewedIt, you probably saw a video from me in your Welcome email. 😄
Wanted to say a huge thank you for all the awesome feedback provided here throughout the day. We are grateful for your comments and so thrilled to hear that you're excited to use ViewedIt.
On a personal note, I have been hosting Product Hunt Toronto meetups for 2 years and have always wanted to launch a product on PH. Means a lot to be able to do this today. I owe so much to Product Hunt and this community. 🙏
Congrats on the launch, Team Vidyard!
I've seen a couple of tools that do this sort of thing (Droplr is the first that comes to mind, and is in fact one that I use). The advantage of ViewedIt that I'm seeing right away, apart from the digital marketing side of things, is specifically in usability testing. Not only is the video handy to capture a screencast of what the user is doing, but it could also be really useful in capturing the facial expressions and body language of testers - something that goes missing in all other tools I've seen. Excited to give this a go!
Really interesting use case @alirtariq. I've been on both sides of the glass in user testing and you're right, capturing the physical reaction of the subject adds a whole other dimension to what they're doing on screen. Great idea!
What are your first impressions so far after using it?
@gadway I used it to have my wife share a journal with me that she didn't have the ability to save. Not the best of use cases, I know (two or three screenshots would've just sufficed), but it was a good excuse to try it out. It worked like a charm! My wife enjoyed using it too - and she hates downloading plugins and apps. And it was fun to see her giving some of her colourful commentary on the side :p
The onboarding is straightforward if a bit overly long. Again, I'm comparing with Droplr whose onboarding was hardly a couple of steps. Still, I'm rooting for this. Looking forward to making more use of this.
@alirtariq@gadway Thanks for your comment, Ali! We're constantly testing onboarding and want to keep it super simple. Would love specific feedback on information that wasn't necessary in onboarding, if you get a minute. Thanks again for checking out ViewedIt! Glad your wife enjoyed it too! :)

Will share this tool with our UX researcher. Super useful to capture usability tests and share with the rest of the team.
Thanks @francoismat !
I definitely understand where you are coming from! It is very useful to show off your UX designs and findings while also being able to comment on them.
I would love to see what videos you come up with :)
Thanks for the comment @d0b0 ! So many great ways to use ViewedIt across an organization. If you get a chance we’d love to hear your feedback from your experiences using ViewedIt inside Thalmic. Feel free to reach out know if you have any questions or feedback!
Thanks for the comment @lukethomas14! Glad to hear you like the speed and efficiency.
Crystal is all about getting people's attention through personalized selling. How do you think that video fits into that equation?

Hey Guys! Congrats! I love your product. I've been waiting for something like Opentest for a while. I love how easy opentest makes it to give feedback to my designers and engineers. Since downloading it back in july, I have used it almost every day. Great work, keep it up.
Thanks for the comment @being_adam!
We’ve worked hard on ViewedIt to provide users not only the ability to record and share videos, but a way to track how those videos succeed! You get the instant satisfaction of knowing who watches your videos and even for how long. You’ll know exactly when to follow up with your designers and engineers!
I have been working on the product for a couple months now, and I still get a smile on my face every time I see people watch my videos.
Send me a ViewedIt video to sofia@viewedit.com, and I will gladly watch your recording so you'll get the full product experience :)
