I’m a solo developer based in Sweden building web platforms, apps and data tools. My main project is WorldDailyWeather.com — a free weather site covering 100,000+ cities in 37 languages with self-hosted infrastructure and 1.5M+ indexed pages. I build everything from scratch: PHP/MySQL backends, React Native apps, SEO systems and real-time data pipelines.

Six days ago I launched WorldDailyWeather.com a free weather platform I built solo that covers 100,000+ cities worldwide in 37 languages, including tiny villages most weather sites ignore.

A few things I learned building it:

Self-hosting the weather API was a game changer. Instead of paying per-call APIs, I run Open-Meteo in Docker locally. Unlimited forecasts, zero API costs, full control over the data pipeline.

🪞 Do you use your own product every day?

For us, RunEvr is the environment where we actually build RunEvr =)

For me, that s one of the most beautiful parts of having a product - using it while continuing to build and improve it.

We do our everyday calls there, share ideas, chat, store files, do reviews, complete tasks

And all of this is happening inside the same environment we re building to help other teams do exactly that!
