What conference swag actually gets people to stop at your booth (and fits in a suitcase)?
... founder of
k dlo
, an AI-driven lead generation and sales platform, and we're exhibiting at Web Summit this year. First time doing a proper conference booth, and I'm trying to figure out swag that's actually effective, not just stuff that ends up in a hotel trash can by day two. The catch: I'm flying in, so anything I bring has to survive checked luggage or fit in a carry-on. k dlo
here soon and I'd rather know a few people before that day . So I'll be in the comments. Comment from Daria Ofitserova(@daria_ofitserova): Hi Andriana, congrats on

"build in public" is a substitute for selling, not a form of it
... wrote 40 posts about building
k dlo
before I wrote a single email to a stranger. And I know exactly why in that order. Posting feels like go to market. Likes, comments, followers, a nice little chart. But nobody ever said no to me, because I never actually asked anyone. I was publishing to people who already showed up. Selling is writing to one specific person who didn't ask for you. Building in public doesn't train that. Not even ...
