Today I will be retiring @Dad Reply from active development.
With the latest feature of @Gmail being a "reaction button" it, to me, now seems redundant. This was never a long term goal of mine, I spun the idea up because I thought it would be funny, not realising the impact it would have.
A friend once told me, and I am paraphrasing here. "If you build on top of a platform you're beholden to that platform.", so I always knew that this could happen.
It was only because I couldn't post it to @Reddit that I jokingly launched it on Product Hunt, which, in turn, lead it to being 4th for the day, granted me a meeting with @jakecrump and his PA @catt_marroll to discuss my experience, got a shoutout from @rrhoover and was chosen to lead the daily Product Hunt email list.
In the coming days I will push a final update to remove any restrictions. Including the pro-version (which I never charged for).
This whole experience has been so valuable to me. And as much as I don't want to sound like a bot, it's true.
It gave me the confidence to build my ideas and ship them (something I have been helping other people do for 15+ years).
I did this for me, and just because of how ridiculous it is. Since then I have been continuing to push things out under workingon.studio, a new playground for me to explore my ideas. Creating products that shine a mirror on the ridiculousness of the world, and how we see it.
I've also been focusing on building tools for those that are switching back to @Sketch , including a powerful icon plugin. Which they have recognised, and have supported me in doing so.
Most of these things, like with @Dad Reply have been for me. They are my itches to scratch. And trust me, after 15+ years of doing nothing about it I'm itching all over.
My next little thing is launching on Monday. So keep an eye out for that. And there are many more in the cannon.

Since the AI era started booming, everything has been changing incredibly fast and it requires us to adapt just as quickly. AI is now part of both our work and daily lives. It slowly seeps into everything, and over time, it can even reduce how much we think and decide for ourselves.
Of course, I won t deny the huge benefits AI brings.

But the more I saw how easily we can get carried away by it, the more I felt the need to slow down to step back and look at the bigger picture.

After spending time working with AI, I realized a few important things:

There are a lot of GEO / AEO tools launching right now.

Most of them simulate prompts and track mentions.

Since launching Intrascope as a shared AI workspace, we noticed a clear pattern in our user feedback.While teams loved having centralized control, they felt limited without API access. As one user put it:

I'm planning what's next for Flowdy a keyword highlighting tool for Shopify product pages.

I'm considering building a partner program with commission for agencies and freelancers who work with Shopify merchants. But before I do, I want to make sure it's something people actually want.

What s worked for us looks very different from spray-and-pray.

We ve learned that outbound works when it s intentional at every step.

A few things that made the biggest difference for us:

Getting the ICP really right. Sometimes the first outreach isn t to the buyer, but to someone who can open the door.
Personalization isn t optional. Company context, role, recent updates. Generic gets ignored fast.
Channels are chosen by output, not comfort. We double down on what actually converts.
The first message rarely works. Conversations usually start around the third or fourth touch, if there s value each time.
Timing matters more than volume. Funding news, hiring, social posts. Showing up when the problem is top of mind changes everything.
We focus on relationships, not just pipeline. Some buy later. Some refer. All conversations compound.
Context before calls helps. If someone engages multiple times, the conversation feels very different.
Signals matter. Engagement often tells you when to reach out, not just who.

We spent a year building Lovon with a PhD psychologist with 40+ years of clinical experience. What makes it different:

First of all, thank you so much for the incredible response to our Product Hunt launch. The level of interest has truly exceeded our expectations, and we're deeply grateful to every one of you who signed up and tried NeuroBlock.

Most apps don t make money from subscriptions. They make money from you. Your data browsing history, app usage, personal behaviour is worth cold, hard cash.

We ran the numbers for our app, Magic Lasso Adblock, and here s what we found:

• Current Subscription revenue per user: $25.50/year

• Potential Data broker revenue per user: $30+/year

• Meaning: we could more than double our profit margins overnight by selling user data.

I m working on the next update for Proximity Lock, and I want to sanity-check the direction with the PH community.

Right now, the product is mainly used by technical users who are comfortable installing and configuring things themselves.
But after talking to a few early users, one pattern stood out:

Non-technical users like the idea, but hesitate because setup feels too technical.
