After telling them for many times, I’m happy that they finally built a filter by host type. You’ll be able to choose who you stay with - doctor, chef, musician, investor etc.

It's funny to think that it all started with "Air Mattress Bed and Breakfast", a cheap alternative to expensive hotels. Now we've got AirBnB for rich people, an expensive alternative to expensive hotels. Nothing but the finest of air mattresses for these guests. Being an avid user of AirBnB both as a guest and as a host, I absolutely love it. The benefits reach far beyond just price point, which is how it initially differentiated itself. Living comfortably and like a local in a new city is one of the greatest ways to travel, even for longer business trips. Far better than the sterile experience of even the finest hotels, who pride themselves on "consistency" and "repeatability". In the past, I had to scour through past reviews to determine if an AirBnB was a good choice or not. Having a more verified method like AirBnB Plus (hopefully) alleviates that burden. Something that is definitely worth the extra shekels.

As a very early-adopter of airbnb both in hosting and traveling would ask Airbnb team to focus on limiting the full business operated rentals and highlight more the genuine hosts who share max. 30% time of the year. Yes it probably hurts your insane profits, with this path the concept will be outlawed in all major cities in the coming 10 years. AirBnB has made a huge difference in my life. Haven't traveled to a new place in a while but I look forward to maybe using it again soon!

What's the difference between Airbnb Plus and Airbnb Corporate and Business Travel (https://www.airbnb.com/work)? If I want a hotel, there are tons of places to book something. Airbnb was initially about something else: I have some space and I make some money out of it.
