Video Localization by Algebras - Culturally accurate dubbing that feels human (32 languages)

by
Algebras brings human-level precision to AI dubbing. Our system keeps lip-sync, rhythm, and emotion intact while adapting language and tone for each culture. Studios and creators use it to launch videos globally — without losing intent or timing. Behind the scenes, our API scales the same dubbing engine across thousands of videos, but what you hear first is accuracy, not automation.

Congrats on the launch! 🎉 Loving the focus on culturally aware dubbing plus the API + long-video support. When will the “agentic lipsync” roll out, and will it handle multi-speaker word-level alignment for long videos?

Aira Mongush

@andywithbebop thank you so much! Yes, def next step would be supporting more voices, multi-speaking, and support for longer video localization!

@yogesh_joshi9 Thank you, Yogesh!

This could save so much time for creators and educators! Curious if there’s real-time dubbing in the pipeline.

Diana Safina

@abod_rehman Thank you Abdul for you support!

And yeah, it is on our pipeline:)

@miro_k thank you Miro! Will keep up the good work:)

Mert HEMEDAN
so this one is more human, are you using some kind of API for this or did you trained a model on your own
Aira Mongush

@mert_hemedan we’re improving the fluency of language itself; and we’re relying on other providers to do the voice generation!

The approach to preserve rhythm and cultural nuance is exactly what's missing in current dubbing tools. As someone building Next.js apps, I'm curious about the API integration: does your CLI handle the QA validation locally before sending videos for processing, or does the quality check happen on your servers? Also, what's the average processing time for a 2-3 minute video with the API at scale?

Aira Mongush

@tristren hey great questions!

  1. CLI is built for UIs, and video loc API is separate :) but QA happens either time during translation, as we’re improving that layer.

  2. Usually it takes about 5 min! But of course if you’re translating batch of videos, it will be optimised for faster localization.

@aira_mongush Thanks for your answer! Super clear !

Emilia Korczyńska

Oh wow good I left the translation industry 😅

Aira Mongush

@emilia_korczynska1 hey - AI is eating the world, but nevertheless we see humans being a center of our product. Proofreading is still needed, although maybe not as intensely.

Tatiana

Wow, amazing! Congratulations on building such a product!

@komaris thank you 🙏🏻🚀
