Great to see this from AL. We have had a tremendous response for a similar product ShotPitch ever since launching and had the chance to discuss it with Jonathan while in Valley :) Bring it on :)

Submitted an application more than 2 weeks ago, received no response. Now, even the pages for submission disappeared. Is this feature dead?

@pt what do you think of this http://shotpitch.com how is this different and better?
Parker Thompson
@15greenberg looks like a similar idea. I don't know the team. It's unclear what their business model is (we make money on syndicates, wen they happen), or the quality of the network (our #1 priority). Startups should probably look into both, but be willing to ask questions about the product/business & make sure these things work for their needs.

@pt I'm working on this cool thing preparing to launch (http://vhunt.webflow.io) maybe both you and AngelList Intros want to be involved

@15greenberg send in an app, we'll take a look!
Daniel Greenberg
@pt do you have an email where I can send some info?
Parker Thompson
@15greenberg I suck at email. I recommend the Intros product.

This is pretty cool. Especially for startups who may have a great product with little knowledge in the connections of investors. This way AngelList acts as the filtered agregator. It's pretty much essentially what an accelerator would do, filtering out to only the great startups, except without an x-period mentorship, it goes straight through to investment

@rhmcmillan accelerators do a couple things from my perspective, including this. We don't expect this product to compete with accelerators, and are working with a few already, but there are companies who don't want to do accelerators or just want more help with the process. We want this to be open to all of those folks.

This is an awesome product! Really cool!
