Asmi AI - AI that handles your personal chores in the real world

by
Asmi calls you every morning. You talk - it handles the day. It calls services (dentist, salon, plumber, bank, insurance) or people (friends, colleagues) to coordinate, book or resolve things. Updates you on iMessage or WhatsApp when done. It can navigate IVRS, wait on hold and handle complex conversations well.

Really exciting vision especially the ability to wait on hold and manage complex conversations without constant supervision. How do users typically build trust in Asmi before letting it make calls on their behalf?

 Thanks, Williams. Great question.

Typically, people talk to Asmi over a call for the first time, give it one or two tasks, mostly making it call their personal contacts like their friends, family, or colleagues. Asmi accomplishes the first task, and we also have a flow where Asmi can send you the audio recording after a task is successfully completed. That's what creates more trust among people, and then they start using it every day for other tasks also.

I've been putting off calling my insurance provider for weeks. This might be the answer 😂

haha, absolutely Divya. Let Asmi make your life easier. You just do what you love to do!

Congrats team! For anyone who’s been procrastinating on calls or scheduling, this feels like a game-changer.

Thanks Roman. Asmi is here to take your everyday tasks. It can plan, execute tasks, and also help you keep track of the day!

"Real world" is the operative phrase — plenty of assistants draft the email but stop short of actually booking the thing. Where does Asmi draw the line today: does it place calls and complete bookings end-to-end, or hand off at the final confirmation?

You are absolutely right Oleksii! Asmi completes the task end to end and comes back to you with the final update. It also shares the call recordings with you for all successfully completed tasks. We believe in full transparency.

I must try this out!

Thanks Zhen! Please do try it out and share your feedback with us. I hope you'd love it!

Used Asmi to coordinate dinner plans with my friends, and the best part was how it handled calling the restaurant and booking the reservation for us. Wish it could access my calendar and block that time for me. Will look out for more features..

Thanks a lot, Sneha for trying it out.

We do have the feature where you can integrate your calendar, and Asmi can use that information to make your scheduling really smooth. We just don't push users to start with that. It's more implicit if users ask for it, Asmi will present that option for now.

Please do give it a try whenever you find time. We are committed to making it better each day for you.

Honestly, a really smart wedge. Everyone is piling onto the thinking layer, but most of the real world still runs on phone calls to places that will never have an API. Using voice to reach the offline stuff is a good bet . Curious how it holds up at scale, but congrats , this is cool

Thanks so much. We have already accomplished more than 5,000 tasks in the last couple of weeks. We are a team that deeply understands AI infrastructure, agents, and how to build consumer products at scale. We are quite hopeful that we can make it work at a very large scale. Super excited to scale Asmi :)

Nice.

Thanks Artin. Look forward to making Asmi better each day.

I just configure eleven labs with my hermes agent & it almost does the same. The question I keep coming back, do we need new interfaces for every other agent capability

Thanks Gaurav - and congrats on wiring that up, genuinely cool.

You've hit on our core thesis. Our answer: no new interfaces at all. Asmi has none - no app, no setup. It lives in WhatsApp/iMessage, and the call itself is the interface.

On the DIY setup: it makes a great demo that works 70–80% of the time. But managing your task list with it every single day - follow-ups, retries, context across days, navigating IVRS, perfecting it on real-world use cases - the last 20-30% takes a very different level of effort.

And our challenge is making this work for millions of users, reliably and consistently, where they never think about agents, prompts, or systems at all. They just say it once, and it's done.

That gap is the entire company. Would love your feedback if you try it 🙂

his is super awesome,

I've known Rishi since our college days, and he's been incredibly helpful throughout my startup journey. He supported me during our YC Demo Day fundraising process and shared valuable insights on GTM for Indian consumers.

Rooting hard for you and Satwik. I remember signing up for Asmi a few months ago when it was still in its early days, and it's incredible to see how much it has evolved since then. Amazing work, and wishing you all the success ahead! 🚀

Thanks a lot, Samay, for being an early user and always sharing your insights on how we can make Asmi better for everyone. We are headsdown focused on making the best personal assistant that can help people with your real-world chores. Onwards or upwards!
