I guess this will or have been asked before. But how do you compare to OpenAi's own agent builder that they launched yesterday?

Attio Automations are designed to provide structured automations on top of our CRM product, which gives you a single place to combine customer and product data. Our AI blocks sit on top of OpenAI and Google Vertex APIs to provide LLM powered magic based on that data context. We're super excited about OpenAI's new GPT library - we see it as a logical next step for the OpenAI platform and we'd love to allow customers to call those newly created GPTs through our Automation tool. You can think of Attio Automations as an orchestration layer for calling different products and services in reaction to data changes - if the most helpful integration to call is a GPT then we want to make that possible!

I'm one of the cofounders of a relatively new B2B SaaS company (we make Registered Agent compliance software that automates secretary of state filings) where I run go to market and started using Attio after reading about it in a forum somewhere. The flexibility of the platform was already great, but I have been using this update since Alpha and it gave me the ability to do virtually anything I want. It's been awesome. Candidly, I'm a bit of luddite, and the usability of the product requires no training. Recently, I've been using it to create historical records/time stamps/etc based on events in our pipeline, as well as linking various pipelines together (lists in their parlance). Love it. I have virtually no CRM upkeep, which is crucial at this stage. It's future proofed Attio for us for the foreseeable future, which is one less thing I have to think about.

Love the "Automations" feature! it's super-easy to use and clutter free (which is a key thing when building workflows), and it saves the need to add a 3rd party tool like zapier, just to get the 4-5 main things done. In general, i'm a big fan of in-app workflow tools (like airtable has), because they are just easy to start with and get the basic things done. For complex things there's make or zapier.
