I participated in an incubator with FireFlies last year and it is great to see this product grow. Both of their founders are extremely passionate and talented. I firmly believe that this product will be a staple for any sales team that uses a CRM at any scale.

Pros:

Makes tedious tasks we hate, simple

Cons:

Hey guys we've gotten a few questions as we've helped users onboard that I wanted to share here as well: 1. Fireflies currently supports the English language today. We will do other languages in the future 2. Fireflies can dial into a host of web-conferencing platforms like Zoom, Webex, Google Meet, Uberconference, GoToMeeting, Ringcentral, Skype for Business, etc 3.When you are including the dial in number on the platform Fireflies can only parse US Dial-in numbers and pins. Most web-conferencing platforms have a US dial in number. 4. Fireflies will send out a summary within 30 mins. It takes some time to process. You will get an email notification from fred@fireflies.ai with a link once your meeting is ready.

This product is super intuitive to use and has the highest transcription quality I've seen yet. I highly recommend it to anyone who takes more than a few meetings per week and has a hard time remembering all the details/action items from their calls. Great job guys!

Hi @fllorencekwok thank you!! It's been a long journey to get the transcription quality to where it is today. We started off almost a year and a half ago with very expensive and slow transcription. But we've made strides and bounds in being able to offer a fully automated service, using recent advances in natural language processing. Today, we're continuing tot improve transcription by customizing the vocabulary with keywords, phrases and terminology specific to each user.

@sudotong @krish_ramineni Awesome! I started using this product just 7 months ago and the quality has improved a lot since then. Great to see how far you've come in just that short amount of time. Also, I frequently meet with international teams and I'd like to roll this out to their regions. I'm curious about whether or not Fireflies allows transcription in other languages?

@fllorencekwok We've listened and doubled down on what you and everyone was saying back then, thanks this means a lot! Right now we're only focusing on English. We support accents, but the stronger the accent the lower quality the summary and transcript will be. For high quality notes, just make sure that there is minimal background noise, speakers aren't interrupting each other frequently, and microphone accurately captures your audio. Our service is 100% automated :)

I’ve had the opportunity to try Fireflies a few times during its growth and I’ve been really impressed what this team has done as far as dramatically enhancing the product over the past 9 months. It’s truly remarkable how much great work and functionality they’ve improved in that time span, so I’m excited to see where they take it next. We’ve been moving toward a more remote-friendly office, and having Fred (the bot) able to take notes and keep everyone on the same page is going to help with that tremendously.

As someone with a hearing disability, this could be extremely helpful. I spend so much of my time focusing and processing what's being said in a meeting that it's really tough to capture the information. I'm definitely going to try this out. Thank you guys so much for this.
