Yesterday I was asked by @maria_anosova if it is possible to get your dream job thanks to this platform.

I thought about it.

To the sellers of upvote bots:

You're not "supporting" makers. You're misleading the community.

Product Hunt was built to surface genuinely useful, creative, and innovative products. The moment fake upvotes flood the rankings, it becomes harder for real builders to gain visibility and easier for spam and mediocrity to win.

I recently launched my first wellness app, Momentia, a mindful journaling app designed to help people check in with their moods quickly. It s been a rewarding (and humbling) experience, and I wanted to share a few lessons that might help other makers in this space:

1. Simplicity wins. People don t want a complicated system when it comes to journaling or mental wellness. Small, consistent actions matter more. I discovered this both in my own wellness journey and from early test users.

2. Community > marketing spend. The most valuable traction so far has come from engaging with communities like this one, not ads.

3. Your own habits matter. I ve found myself becoming the best test user using the app daily gave me insights I d never get from wireframes or specs.

4. Feedback is gold. Early testers and even casual users often highlight things I would ve missed as a builder. Just the other day, an early adopter gave me unsolicited feedback in a casual conversation and it turned out to be incredibly valuable.

Launching something in the wellness space has reminded me how important it is to keep things human and approachable. Momentia started as an idea to help me, and I can only hope it helps others, too.

I often see founders wondering:

The AI landscape keeps shifting fast, and Mistral AI s recent moves remind us that innovation rarely comes from just one giant. It s fascinating to see a new player emerge with fresh approaches to open-weight models and decentralized R&D challenging the idea that AI progress must be owned by a few massive companies.

This raises a bigger question:

Are we heading toward a more collaborative and open AI ecosystem, or will the big players always dominate the narrative?

Mistral s approach hints at a future where competition sparks creativity, but also where transparency and open research might unlock new breakthroughs faster. For builders and researchers alike, this is both exciting and a bit daunting.

I browse PH almost daily. I upvote stuff, sign up on launch day, leave comments. Then 3 days later I want to use a tool and can't remember the name.

There's one good saying that
