This is a slick way to sell stuff on FB marketplace. If you have stuff in your house you want to list, but haven't, just try it.

Anything on the horizon for an Australian launch?

Kai Gradert

@lincoln_eather1 Yes, we are looking into launching in English-speaking countries soon.

This sounds super convenient for anyone looking to sell stuff quickly without the usual hassle. How accurate is the AI at identifying and pricing items? Does it work better with specific categories like electronics, clothing, or furniture? 🚀📸

Kai Gradert

@williamrobertscott In general, electronics are better than clothing.

When will it be available in Australia and as well, thoughts on Android?

As someone who sells a fair bit on Facebook Marketplace, this is pretty interesting. For me least, quite a bit of friction though. I installed on my iPad (I don't own an iPhone) > took a picture > link sent to my email > click on link in email > opens in Edge > told I need to use it in Chrome > try in Chrome > must install extension.

I'm sure the iPhone + Chrome user market is a big one, but I hope you'll support other combinations in the future and make it easier for others to participate in. Great concept, iffy on the pricing being practical. Tempted by the 50% off offer, to me that's a more appealing price point.

Will it be available on Android in India?

@joshuavoydik @kaigradert @jherrm Mixing my consumer questions with my ecom professional questions so bear with me!

  1. You keep mentioning things being on the roadmap - figure of speech or is there a ProductPlan, Roadmunk, Aha! ... Trello (etc.) feature for the website?

  2. An earlier response says electronics better than clothing - is that due to the recognition/identification aspect or the fact that clothing has less reverent attributes in which to grab listings pricing?

  3. Are the products and platforms intended to be broad/mass (ebay, Poshmark, etc.) or niche for things like collectibles/gaming (boardgamegeek, stockx, etc.)?

  4. The website is a bit bare bones - especially for things like pricing and FAQ and whatnot. No shade - curious to know when the sort of evergreen content is expected to be live there.

Great product - can't wait to try it out (though will be waiting for some of those roadmap items - zero interest in doing local transactions via FBM, lol)
