And unlike Glass or Spectacles, this get up is so innocuous, even with the tethered colostomy bag. No one will block you from entering a trade show or put their arm across their tits, no, that wont happen at all.

This is not it (whatever it is). AR is the future but it doesn’t appear Magic Leap will help us get there anytime soon.

Magic leap kept everyone on edge... but to be honest I am a little disappointed with the design, hopefully, the technology will compensate for that!

Been closley watching Magic Leap and very keen to try these out, I held back on Snap's spectacles for these. I want to know how the haptic feedback works on these as I am keen to check them out and sync with my SubPac - just need the games/software to really augment my reality.

Pros:

The mixed reality future is now, this is perfectly timed around the peak in mainstream perception + interest as Ready Player One releases sn

Cons:

I am UK based so much I doubt I will get a chance to try it before I buy.

It's interesting to see people get so hung up on the way it looks and that it won't take-off until it looks like a real pair of glasses, but I think that might be missing the point. You can see this being used in the home, office/studio and industry where no one really cares what they look like (or don't have a choice what they look like). Sitting in Pure VR for 8 hours a day makes you go a bit loopy but having something that gives you all the upsides but still connects you into the immediate surroundings and the other people in it seems like a huge plus. I do think they missed a trick by not integrating something like Leap Controller into it so you can go hands-free.

I feel like everyone is missing the point with this product. It's not Google Glass nor is it Snap's spectacles. It's called "Creator Edition" because this is a dedicated AR computer to CREATE AR experiences.

Someone had to say can we make our own Google glasses II even worse than the originals? Sure, we got Google’s CEO in the Board, I can assure you we will have in no time our own Glassholes Too!
