Brett Hellman here, founder of Matter. 👋 We are excited to share the launch of Rewards! 🥳 The goal of Rewards is to supercharge Feedback Friday (team recognition ritual). Add coins on to kudos and feedback to show extra appreciation. Redeem coins for global gift cards, charitable donations, and custom company rewards. 🏆 What Rewards are offered? 🎁 * Gift Cards — 1,000+ Merchants across 80 countries.
 * Charitable Donations — Donate to the charity of your choice.
 * Company Rewards — Create your own rewards such as merchandise, experiences (e.g., lunch with the CEO), etc. How does Rewards work? ⚙️ 1. Team members give and receive coins via kudos or feedback.
 2. Members request rewards and admin either approvals or declines the request.
 3. Gift cards & donations are automatically delivered in local currency. Company rewards need to be delivered internally. As always, Matter is free to try for 30 days with no credit card required. @timaeusest Hey Tim! Great question. Rewards costs nothing extra! Your company is only charged when an employee requests an award and an administrator at your company approves the request.

@thomas_lepak Great question! Rewards/coins are not prepaid. You are only charged when a team members earns+requests a reward and an admin in your company approves the award.

@thomas_lepak as Brett mentioned, rewards/coins are not prepaid. We've heard from feedback that companies didn't want to potentially pay for something that may not be used. Additionally, only charging when an admin approves a request means that admins are in control of how much they are charged and when they are charged!

@danielle_roubinov There are over 1000 gift cards available in the USA to merchants and charities. Merchants like Amazon, LuluLemon, Walmart, Spotify, etc... I would be shocked if a major retailer wasn't available.
