How are you?

Me? Thanks for asking. I’m stressed about this Product Hunt launch we have planned for weeks. Will people hate it? Is it completely useless? Or are we onto something? Whoa, it's such a roller-coaster. Thank you in advance for your time and effort in learning about MindOne. It's built with love by BitRaptors.

What is BitRaptors?

That's an unusual question to begin with. Regardless, we've been building BitRaptors since 2017. Today, it is a team of 18 engineers and designers passionate about creating. We've been developing mobile apps since the early days of the iPhone. And we started building MindOne seven months ago.

What is MindOne?

It is our approach to grasp AI. We aim to build a tool that is accessible and easy to understand for everyone. We continuously discover new and exciting ways to interact with AI, and we integrate these findings into a toolkit within our native mobile app (iOS, Android). We are curating available services, highlighting the most exciting developments and cutting the bullshit. Our single subscription system provides full access to the MindOne interface and comes with 1000 credits each month. These credits allow you to interact and experiment with the latest AI tools. The cost of a service is defined by the cost of API calls we use to access it. Please note that prices will be adjusted as we refine and transition towards a sustainable model. Mind1 also translates to ‘whatever’ in Hungarian.

Is AI here to save or destroy us?

We honestly don't know. However, we believe that the game needs more players who prioritize people above all. Our vision is to democratize AI. Congratulations to @dfeles and the rest of the team! 🙌🏼 As I understand it's an app that gathers all the AI tools in one place and allows you to dive into this world and find the tool you need or simply want to have a little fun and try it out? I think it is a very good idea, it's a step up from sites that gather all the AI tools and it's a simpler option to serach through them. Wishing you the best of luck 🚀

Congrats on the launch! Really love the mission of making AI tools more accessible and easier to understand for average consumers. A few questions from my side: 1. What does a credit current equate to? (ex: X amount of API calls, X amount of triggered events, X amount of words submitted to the LLM etc. - I do get that it will continue to shift but as of today haha 2. Is the scale of apps under the hood the main differentiator between this and GPT-4 with a few key plugins? If there are more things I'd be eager to hear them! 3. Not a question just a little personal feedback - I love the logo image and design but I find it a little difficult to read the posts in the thread - bio etc with the logo continually changing so rapidly.

@dzaitzow Thank you a lot for your feedbacks! 1 - you can use credits to use services. Each service has a different price (f.eg 3 credit) based on the API costs 2 - something new, we are introducing is aggregating the best services and making them easily accessible on your phone. you don't need to use separate apps or web services, which were mainly optimised for desktop usage. 3 - valid point :) we think it's good for gaining attention, but it is not the most chill logo animation, we agree :)

@dfeles Very cool re: the credit system. I guess that makes a ton of sense in relation to a UBP model where someone might go way overboard and say "how is my bill X?!?!" And yea just my personal opinion but you're right it caught my attention!!

@anna_kasumova This is my second time writing a long reply and accidentally closing the product hunt page, which deleted the whole content... Product Hunt should do something about their product. It is rather painful to use all around. :D First of all, thank you for your comments and support <3 You've touched on one of our most challenging topics, getting to market while being a B2C. We have a lot of ideas here, but we are open to learning on the way and trying different new ways. Couple directions: - Learning materials on how to best use different services - Researching what niche communities might find our helpful tool and focusing on them - Focusing on creating rather high-quality content, with the possibility of going viral - Using credits as an incentive to motivate users for referrals and involvement in the community Overall, we prefer an organic way rather than a superficial one.
