Mocha is an AI-powered no‑code app builder that turns your idea into a live website in minutes. No coding skills needed – perfect for ambitious entrepreneurs.
Nick and Ben here: founders of Mocha. We're excited to share our labor of love with you!
We built Mocha because existing app builders only get you halfway there. They make you set up your own database, auth, and backend through tools like Supabase or Clerk, a prohibitive barrier for the non-technical masses.
☕ What's different about Mocha?
We handle everything so you can focus on your idea:
- Built-in user management & auth
- Database included with every project
- Secure backend for payments, notifications, AI APIs
- One-click deploy and hosting
- Real apps, not just prototypes
Who is this for? The 99% of people with great ideas who don't want to become developers first. Small business owners, entrepreneurs, creators, or simply anyone who needs real software without the technical headaches.
We've been heads-down for months building this because we believe non-technical people deserve tools that actually work end-to-end. No integrations to figure out, no external accounts to manage, no "just connect your database" nonsense.
Ready to ship your idea? We'd love to hear what you think! 🚀

@nichochar@sheila_he awesome product, this is so smooth experience for non coders. I'm halfway through the brandscope app, all while I was having the evening tea. This is Lovable/ Bolt/ Replit on dope 🤖
Indeed we think taht lovable/bolt/replit are pretty good products but they are still a little too technical for the average person who's really unfamiliar with building products.
We think there's a long way to go but are determined to help those people who could do
Thanks so much@shashwat_ghosh_gtm , love the “Lovable/Bolt/Replit on dope” line 😂
Love that you were able to get started while having tea, that’s exactly the kind of effortless experience we’re aiming for.
And totally agree with @nichochar. Tools like Lovable/Bolt/Replit are great, but they still expect users to understand data structures, API flows, or component logic. For most people, that’s a huge barrier. With Mocha, we’re trying to remove all of that friction, so anyone with an idea can build something real, fast, and confidently.

@nichochar@sheila_he facing some API and credit issues is there a customer support person with whom I can check?
@nichochar I guess the main question is... why Mocha?
We've got Bolt and Lovable and others dominating this space, and a lot of developers preferring Claude Code (myself included), so what inspires you to launch Mocha with such intense competition?
PS: when you say "no GitHub", are you suggesting lock-in? Or are you more speaking to the non-dev that you handle everything, and they don't need to learn to deploy to a VCS like GitHub?
@hellodavidryan short answer is that we think the others aren’t good and we built Mocha to be better.
Long answer is that I think the others aren’t too focused on a different type of customer. Lovable uses supabase, GitHub. These are not products that “everyone” can use.
Our vision is that literally everyone can build apps, and for this the only solution is to integrate the whole stack, rather than partner with third parties. No shortcuts.
Ultimately this means the quality ceiling of Mocha is higher.

Have tried mocha and their competitors. It's one of the easiest solution for non coders to build apps. Congrats on the launch.
@nichochar@ravisojitra_ That’s awesome, Ravi! Would love to see how the landing page turns out, and if there’s anything we can improve, we’re all ears.

Looks really interesting, I will try to test it. Thanks!
Mocha - literally one-shot a relatively complex website idea I had. Of course, my prompt was very detailed, outlining section by section, page by page, the design style, everything I needed. But after about 120 seconds, the website was practically ready. Publishing it, pushing it to a custom domain - all that was extremely easy. Mocha is very impressive; I would recommend anyone to give it a try.
Our goal is to go even far beyond the one-shot. People with business ideas typically have a very good idea of what they want and are willing to keep adding features for a while.
That's the hardest thing about building Mocha: making it work for larger apps.
We spent lots of time optimizing things so that it works well.
Helloooo product hunt! I am the founder and CTO of Mocha. The eng team is planning a series of write-ups on the tech that powers Mocha, but in the meantime, I'm happy to answer any questions around the tech that powers the product. We make use of some really fun tech and I hope it shows when using Mocha!

@benjreinhart Hey - Other Vibe Coding platforms struggling with producing a well structured / idiomatic backend... it appears Mocha actually creates backend code with sane patterns that isn't AISaaB (AI Slop as a Backend)... How is Mocha able to do this so well?
The TLDR would be our own services (users service, handling auth, accounts, analytics, etc) combined with lightweight but reliable infra (largely thanks to Cloudflare). We use SQLite (via D1), which is perfect for the majority of these apps. We put guardrails in place and ensure the AI can only operate within our constraints.
Been using Mocha since November. Great team and friendly community. Love how they have been mindful of building a great all-in-one product along the way. Exciting to see the launch here today and rooting for them!
@ashamplifies thanks for being an early community member. We couldn't be here without you guys <3

Really impressed with everything Nick and Ben have accomplished with Mocha. This is literally the worst this product will ever be, and it's only going to get much much better with the incredible adoption they're seeing.
Fantastic product. Big fan of no-code builders. Let's focus on differentiators and not idiomatically already solved technical solutions.
@crabdude Thanks Adam means a lot. We're a long way away from our days at Pinterest together :D

Solid work put into this 👏 👏 👏
Currently building an LMS with Mocha, and it handles the project prompt amazingly well. Initially, Mocha built it around their database and deployment. I requested for the project to be restructured for independent deployment using my preferred stack, and it still performed amazingly well, with the tradeoff of not being able to test on the platform. Running it locally was smooth though.

@nichochar I started building an agency landing page with Mocha. It was great experience.

@nikolai_kekish we thrive on feedback, definitely let us know what you like / don't, and how we can improve Mocha!
🙏
@nikolai_kekish @nichochar Make it fully compatible with Astro (no one handles this correctly at the moment, it's frustrating)
Mocha
@nikolai_kekish @parlier_thierry i love astro, my blog is using it actually nicholascharriere.com
But we want an opinionated stack. Our ideal customer doesn't know what astro is or cares about it, they care about features / outcomes.
I think cursor / claude code are better for devs who have framework preferences!
Mocha
@nikolai_kekish Thanks Nikolai! 🙌
Excited for you to try it, feel free to share any feedback or ideas. We’d love to hear how it goes!
An incredible product! As a developer, I’ve rarely seen something this impressive — truly amazing. Best of luck

@mustapha_abdulkareem surprised it did the export well, that's outside of its regular scope 😅
Glad you enjoy the app regardless :D
I'm a self employed professional and always wanted a todo list app based on my own idea.
Mocha is able to bring my vision into reality.
The problem Mocha addressing is real.
In the past I've started various blogs, websites but never really be able to maintain or take it off due
to technical stuffs.
When AI (Vibe coding) came along, I tried them, but again I got in a trap of managing database, updating github, hosting issues etc.,
All these problems seem to overwhelm you, and you get trapped in a situation where you want to move forward
but the technical stuffs pulls you down.
With Mocha, I can finally stay relaxed and relieved that I can take care of everything in one place,
without worrying about technical stuffs/jargons.
It's a great product which solves real problem in the market for people like me.
I think it'll be a great hit going down the time.
Well done Mocha team :)
