Using Mocha, I vibe coded an online tile order service, including a whole design game to point-and-click design the tile layout just like minesweeper.

Pretty crazy you can just build any business or idea you like now. Great work guys.

@mceoin love this use case, thanks for trying it out and happy that Mocha is delivering!

The product respond to common struggles I've seen in this and other vide-coding communities. Well done, can't wait to try it.

No way, you mean I can go from random idea to live website without wrestling with code? That’s wild—my weekend side projects just got a serious upgrade. How customizable is it?

Ben Reinhart

@joey_zhu_seopage_ai Hey hey! customizable how? The AI can customize the design and behavior however you'd llke! We choose the tech that powers it though

Congratulations for the launch 🎉

But, please don't say without coding. Really! full-stack without coding? AI can't give you production ready apps even with 1000 prompts. You need at least one byte of editing in code section.

Without coding is a great way to attract non-coders, but actual devs know it's just a marketing strategy...

Ben Reinhart

@hirak35 That's not true in all cases. What is true is that as the app gets more complex, it becomes beneficial to be able to dive into the code if needed, to debug or steer the AI in the right direction. But there's a large class of apps that are on the simpler side (personal software, MVPs to test ideas, SMB sites, etc) and can be built without knowing any coding.

We're not claiming Mocha is going to solely power something the size and scale of Facebook. But it can be (and is!) tremendously valuable for the 99%

as someone who has used lovable bolt and Replit extensively, mocha is the best at one shotting prompt so far. It even one shotted Google authentication, which is wild.

I am looking forward to building with mocha more, but my initial impressions are that it is the best no code tool experience!

Nicholas Charriere

@aaron_makelky thanks Aaron! We put a lot of blood, sweat and tears into it so this really means a lot, sharing with the team.

great work! crazy how much the platform has progressed this year

@elie222 Thanks Elie! Been pushing hard behind the scenes, glad it’s showing

For me, it’s the things behind the interface about Mocha that make it actually lovable - Mocha’s backend deployment infra is insanely reliable and probably their greatest strength amid a very noisy crowd. Ask their CTO Ben about it. I also love that Mocha contributes back to open source, including a 3k+ star Typescript developer’s notebook repo - this is the technical competence and leadership that give me the confidence that Mocha the best place for me to build the ideas just sitting my own handwritten notebooks. These are the vibes I'm looking for in an app building tool - real technical discipline and depth and reliability.

I used Mocha to build a weekly calendar planner tool to help me organize my life and it’s become a part of my weekly ritual now. I’m thinking about turning it into a public app soon too, and Mocha’s ready for me

@whatrocks Thank you for the kind words Charlie! Means a ton coming from you.
