Congrats @levelsio on shipping 3.0 of NomadList. It is amazing to see this project grew from a Google Sheet to a full fledge nomad suite. Your tweets, blog posts etc. keeps indie devs like me motivated. Kudos to you :)
This is a genuinely useful idea and project! Although I was a bit surprised (and disappointed) to see very few Woman-Friendly cities when I was playing around with filters and searches. Hopefully this is inaccurate!
These positive reviews are for the free version. The paid membership offers very little and the owner blew me off on Twitter in super-bratty fashion. There’s no way of contacting the admin and no real community to join when you pay money.
Pros:
The free site
Cons:
Paid version has no benefits

I don't recommend Nomad List! I have purchased a lifetime license, which was blocked after my actions were allegedly considered to be spam. I didn't receive any warnings on my e-mail and got a refund on a card which is no longer valid. I have asked a few times to fix that but there was no response! Terrible customer service, non-existent would be a more accurate word to define it.

Nomadlist is a scam and Pieter Levels is a draconian dictator with a huge ego; he will come crashing down on any users if he disagrees with what you're saying or doesn't like your style. No apologies or reasons or accountabilities. Absolutely zero interest in offering any semblance of support with any issue. Completely impossible to reach the dictator, even when he deletes your account without giving any reason. At least give me a refund?! Expect your posts to get deleted randomly and generally pushed around by this otherwise absent control freak. Make sure to read the reviews before you hand over your money. Such a shame because at first I thought it was so cool. But this community is owned by this 1 man and he will make sure you know, especially if he doesn't fancy you.

I am currently trying to grow https://www.producthunt.com/post... any tips on running a successful producthunt campaign or even sharing projects outside of produchunt?
@izzycasillasjr Hi Israel!
See where you target user hangs out. What apps do they use? What sites are they on? Can you reach them through there?
For example: if you're making a high tech app for managing farms, launching on Product Hunt might make sense as it's new technology. But the actual end users might be in forums for agricultural tech. Find those places and spread it there in a non-spammy friendly way. A good way is to offer something for free: Nomad List offers a destination search engine for free, but charges to become a member of the social network.

Pieter inspired me to become a full time digital nomad. 🙌
Pros:Great way to find my next place to stay. Got everything I need.
Cons:Got some serious FOMO for all the places I haven’t visited yet.
