Probably the best tool I have came across for creating, planning, organizing and managing personal/professional knowledge base. Flexible features and amazing freedom to customize views, calendars, databases and more. The only thing missing is measuring and tracking progress, f.x. planning goals, hours spent and areas that need more attention. Otherwise, I truly recommend this wonderful tool.

Pros:

Very user-friendly, cross-platform; upload, organize and store files, links; build databases; incredible customer support team & chat

Cons:

Missing calendar view to zoom in to day to see and plan hours.

Wish it had Dark mode, so much white burns the eyes.... Otherwise awesome new tool that I am still trying out.

Discovered Notion here and it is great product. But not mature enough to move all your notes from another services and to start paying. It has bugs on mobile app. It has bugs on web app. For example, you can't exit android app with back press sometimes and it is mostly loading everything from scratch (probably little local cache used yet). On web app, there is code block bug which i hit all the time. Code block languages turn into Javascript arbitrarily. And imagine having 100s of pages with 10s of code blocks and all code syntaxes turned into Javascript! Imagine the time wasted. Another little yet too important feature is emptying trash, which you can't do with one click. Support team said they vote on these feature yet; But my gut asks who would vote for this feature, everybody uses and needs this and what do you lose by implementing this?! At this point, after using 2 weeks on web, mac, android, i won't move 1000+ notes from Evernote and 100s of notes from Wunderlist to notion. Pricing of notion is comparable to Evernote and others, but Evernote is really mature and they even contribute to open source on github. TLDR; notion as company is not mature enough, support team is not enough. Use it if you are starting from scratch but there is risk when abandoning other mature services and moving your content here.EDIT: support team is really bad. I have reported lots of bugs, because i like the product. But they try to escape it and ignore. Not worth the money.

Pros:

- A lot of features, templates- Good UI

Cons:

- Android app is not mature enough (cross platform i guess)- Support team is not good enough- Pricing

What I missed most in the notion was being able to open in a small window to take quick notes, so I made this extension to the chrome: https://chrome.google.com/websto...

We have been using Notion for several weeks now and it has made daily work much easier. We use the Notion for planning, documentation, roadmap, todos, feedback, ... almost all kinds of activities in our company, except chat (therfore we have slack ;). It saves us a lot of time and replaces several of the tools we've been using so far.

Pros:

Excellent usability, rich in useful functions, clear overview

Cons:

Nothing so far

I have been using Notion for half a year or so. Before using it, I searched for a long time for a way to make a team knowledge base that was easy to update and search in. Notion has been a great choice and I love how freakin fast it is to find something using their built in spotlight-ish search feature.

Pros:

Very Fast, Easy to search (spotlight search), Beautiful UI

Cons:

Nah, nope, nothing

Try it, it really has the potential to become the only tool you need for your team work and knowledge organisation!

Pros:

Simple but at the same time very powerful. The UI is beautiful! The best text editor I've ever used

Cons:

Nothing major really. Pages are sometimes a bit slow to load. I would also really like to be able to have nested tasks

Podio, dropbox paper, google doc, workflowy, trello and more. All in one. Simple and usable

Pros:

It has everything you need and it’s a clean minimal interface packed with the best UX i’ve ever seen

Cons:

If notion will disappear I am totally fucked. i rely completely on notion

I have not been that much in love with a software since I started to use Evernote in 2008.

I have my team of 15 working with Notion for knowledge sharing. Everybody really enjoys to write manuals or to meeting notes etc. with this great tool.

The new table feature is basically an online version on Excel on steroids combined with the power of a database.

Pros:

Very intuitive, great looking, flexible, great developer team that listens to customer requests, great support

Cons:

No Apple Pencil Support
