Obsidian has all the pieces in place to be one of my favorite note software. I have full control and flexibility of my files and Obsidian provides four key features: backlinks, node map, panes, and plug-ins for further extensibility. And the best part is I can use other software with my notes since Obsidian doesn’t close them off like most similar applications.

All the points which make this SW a *pure delight* have been expressed already. I just want to say a big Thank and send support to Erica and Shida for building this SW.

What do I think of this product? Essential. Obisidian is a product that has become a catalyst for making great products. A lot of great products, or broadly speaking, breakthroughs in complex problems, come from synthesizing random thoughts from random topics. Obsidian's graph view robust hyperlinks accelerates meaningful synthesis ten-folds! I use it for work, side hustle and personal life.

Best knowledge base system I've ever used.

I am sitting here moving most of my notes over from Notion and most importantly, feeling very inspired to create new ones. This is because of the beautiful UI and moreover the incredibly useful toolkit that is Obsidian. Thank you @erica_xu and @shida_li for an amazing experience. I LOVE Obsidian!!! And oh by the way, I became a paid customer for Dynalist a few weeks ago by coincidence - also a great tool!

All I can say is I love this product. I love the internal links to other files. I love the vaults. I love the views.

Congrats @_ericaxu @shida_li on an amazing product. As a former technical writer and information networking specialist at Red Hat, and then the founder of Corilla, I'm from the a small community of humans who have targeted their careers in studying the convergence of information science and neuroscience in our professional and academic lives. And I can safely say... this is the closest I've seen to a truly killer product that realises so much of what got my little team excited in the first place (which was the implications of DITA in a UX-obsessive world). You've made such a beautiful product with immediately obvious workflow and value. And without any overly dramatic posturing on Twitter or in forums about taking over the world, without hiding behind silly cartoons, and without drowning under venture funded hype. It's just... a great product. I use it, I love it, and I'm going to go pay for it right now so you can avoid all those things above and just keeping making something special. Thank you.
