Good list. Can you localise in other languages? One on one meetings are becoming quite a trend in Europe and Asia. Having a good repository of questions in their own language can be very helpful.
@nidhi_kapoor Thats a great idea and yes we would love to do that. Currently we don't have localisation expertise but we can start one language at a time. Thanks :)

Excellent list. It would be quite useful if you could add some cases around each question and facilitate debates on how different people would approach it. Observing how others assess unsaid cues and also how they respond to situations helps a manager get better. Helps to look at multiple perspectives and choose to respond in a way that suits one's own style

Great resource, my team does formal 1 on 1s and informal developer to developer 1 on 1s. I'm wondering if there are any suggestions on more developer to developer 1 on 1 questions, even though most of these could be used for both
Thanks @msny_36 for the kind words. That's a great point. Honestly, we haven't created a list for that. Our text task is to create a similar list for employees to ask in their 1-on-1s with their managers. Would love to build and share a similar list for 1-on-1s between peers, (developers in your case).
