♾️ What’s your product logo?
by•
When I’m scrolling through a list of products, the first thing that catches my eye is usually the logo.
Only then I look at the tagline, and after that, the description.
For us, it’s a very simple infinity sign, but it actually says almost everything we want our brand to say.
• A loop that keeps running and never gets interrupted
• Simplicity
• Our brand magenta to cyan gradient
So now I’m curious:
What’s your product logo, and what’s the story behind it?
Let’s share =)

This is my logo for App Finder, a search engine for mobile apps. I tried different things related to the functionality, like something including a magnifying glass or database symbol, but I couldn't come up with something nice.
So I decided for something more abstract. The idea of this star / flower is to represent something beautiful that one is searching for. And since it's apps, I've used the "code green" color.
@konrad_sx Nice one! =) I really liked the idea you put into it, and the color was chosen very well too.
@adana thank you, that's nice
Here is the story behind the Call an Insider logo.
The dot outside is the student, and the one inside is the insider (inside a closed circle).
Call an Insider is the bridge, allowing students to get a 15-minute call with an insider at a top company.
Not sure if users get it at first glance, but at least it makes sense to me :)
@ilyasb liked both, thea idea of the product and the logo =)
in between these two (still undecided):
the product is: pesky.ai
@ruzgarzere what problem does your product solve?
The dots are clear and readable.
And the little character is catchy.
@adana Thanks, it finds your clones (copies of your SaaS) on autopilot (hence the cute but devilish ghost), the dice is a bit too metaphorical I feel..
@ruzgarzere Ah, got it. In that case ig the character fits better - someone who finds your clones will definitely be remembered more =)
For ProdShort, we wanted to keep it simple. We combined the “P” from ProdShort with a play button, since video is at the core of what we do. Nothing too complicated 😄
@amraniyasser But you know, the P placement is really cool =) Did a designer come up with it?
@adanaYes!! We had a designer on the team!
@amraniyasser Even in the tiniest details, it always feels like there’s a professional touch =)
@adana It’s all in the details 😄
SafeLimit has shield – like protection against LinkedIn restrictions :)
@busmark_w_nika good one! And what about the curve inside? Is it a heartbeat?
@adana yes, the aim is to make the account alive :D
@busmark_w_nika Ahh, got it ! Great <3
Fun thread! Here are two of mine.
Pinateca is a project management tool built on boards. The name comes from pinacotheca, an old word for a picture gallery, from pinax (board) and theke (a place to keep things). I almost dropped it because I thought English speakers would read it as piñata lol, but once I typed it into a search box letter by letter, piñata was gone by "pinatec".
Halict takes you from a form submission to the reply on one screen. It's Halictus, the sweat bee, with the ending cut off. They land on you for the salt in your sweat, so they come to you on their own, which felt right for a tool about inbound messages. The copper is from one species that has a coppery metallic shine.
@hisashispace Liked both! And I especially liked how you chose the names for your products =)
Ours is a pigeon. We did try to make something more abstract, like a feather or something that looks a bit more "SaaS", if you know what I mean. But the truth is, we love our little pigeon mascot. He's the face of our tool, and other people seem to love him too.
One of our test users put the app on his computer and told us "I love the pigeon, it really sticks out between the other apps." That was about the only thing I needed to hear.
@emma_lagast I can prove your user's opinion =) It’s really cute, and the thing I like most is the contrast. Pigeons and SaaS are completely different, but that contrast actually helps it stand out.
I like this idea Our logo is built around a simple infinity symbol too, representing continuous growth and iteration Its interesting how much a simple logo can say about a product
@shivam_kushwaha16 Don't you have an image of it? I'd like to see =)
