I've been using AI coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, aider ) to work with open source repos, and I noticed a scary gap:
You git clone a project, you point an agent at it, and before you type a single command, code can already run.
A .git/hooks/pre commit, an npm postinstall, a .envrc, a VS Code task set to folderOpen, a CLAUDE.md that tells the agent to curl | bash none of these show up in a normal diff review.

Every week an AI launch shows up claiming "10x faster" or "beats every benchmark". Some of it is real. A lot isn't. Finding out costs 20-30 minutes of digging through benchmark tables and dev threads.
So I built Reality Filter. You paste in a launch and get one verdict: worth trying now, watch later, too early, or mostly fog machine - plus a fog meter for how much of the claim is still unproven. Every verdict names its sources: real benchmark numbers, named reviewers, actual user reports. Never "reports suggest".
I built BabyPercent, a free browser-based baby growth percentile calculator for parents who want to understand weight, length, and head-circumference charts before a pediatric visit.
The product boundary is important: a percentile is a comparison, not a grade, and the trend across visits matters more than one isolated number. The tool is educational and does not diagnose.
Customer and CRM exports are exactly where an upload-first cleaner can become uncomfortable. Before using any CSV cleanup tool, I would check five things:
1. Where is the file processed and retained?
2. Can I review duplicate groups before deleting anything?
3. Does it distinguish exact duplicates from similar names or emails?
I built CSV Repair & Deduper for people who receive customer or contact exports that fail imports or create duplicate records.
It detects comma, semicolon, tab, or pipe delimiters; handles quoted and multiline cells; supports UTF-8 and legacy Windows-1252 exports; and flags exact or near-duplicate rows for review. Everything runs locally in the browser, so the CSV is not uploaded.

Like many of you, my browser setup is a mess. I use Chrome for work (so I have my work profiles and extensions), Safari for personal browsing (better battery life), and Firefox/Arc for testing.
I built SaveMyFare to solve a problem I kept running into - you buy an advance train ticket, plans change, and you're stuck with a non-refundable ticket worth nothing.
Here's the thing most people don't know: advance train tickets in the UK are transferable under National Rail Conditions of Travel. There's no rule saying the person who bought it has to be the one who travels. We built a verified marketplace around that.
I've been using Frame io for client reviews, and while it's good at what it does, I always felt it was missing the bigger picture.
