Why is "free" the most misleading word in social media tools?
I've been comparing the free tiers of social media schedulers and the word "free" is doing a lot of heavy lifting.
Most free plans fall into one of two traps. Either they cap your scheduling volume so low it's unusable past week one (10 posts, 20 posts/month), or they let you schedule but lock the thing you actually need behind a paywall: analytics, more than one or two channels, or AI features that run out after a few credits.
Screen Share Privacy Field Masker - chrome extension
Mask sensitive fields before screen sharing with scope, partial masking and page-scan controls.
Screen Share Privacy Field Masker helps protect sensitive information while browsing, recording tutorials, sharing your screen, taking screenshots, preparing demos, handling support calls, or working with client data. The extension can hide common sensitive data such as email addresses, phone numbers, names, addresses, usernames, company fields, card numbers, IP addresses and your own custom words or phrases. It can also blur images and videos separately, with an intensity control and one-click media blur toggle. You can run protection across the full browser, only on the current Chrome tab, only on specific URL rules, or ignore pages where masking is not needed. Choose full masking or partial masking by percentage or fixed digits/chars. For pages where you only want to hide specific fields, use Page Scan. It scans the current page, shows detected sensitive fields, and lets you save only the fields you want to mask for that URL. Screen Share Privacy Field Masker includes a 7-day trial and paid license activation. Customers can start a trial with email signup, sync an active subscription by email, open the pricing page, and activate with a license key. The extension stores masking preferences locally in Chrome browser storage. Page content and custom masking rules are processed locally in the browser and are not uploaded to the license server.

Built something after getting tired of seeing startups share .env files in Slack and Notion 😅
Vaultlite is a lightweight secrets manager for startups and small engineering teams:
secure API key & env management
browser-side encryption
zero-knowledge architecture
GitHub/CI-friendly workflows
no enterprise DevOps complexity
Still early, still refining onboarding and docs but would genuinely love feedback from developers and founders here.

Analyst-grade stock research in Claude (and Claude Code)
Over the past few months, I've been really impressed with Claude for stock research. However, I often found myself still juggling different tools to pull certain things (price charts, live information, etc.).
So I made a connector for Claude that let's you pull in real-time information--charts, financials, earnings, institutional ownership, etc.--into a consolidated report.
I've found it helpful and just wanted to share--totally free to use:
Way forward to space exploration!

AstraChain.space exists to confront one of the most significant and least discussed challenges facing humanity: the gap between what we are capable of achieving and what we are actually achieving.

HarisLab: The Ultimate Hub of Free Web Tools
Hi Product Hunt!
I m Haris, and I m excited to share my latest project: HarisLab.tech.
I built HarisLab because I was tired of utility sites that were either slow, filled with intrusive ads, or hidden behind paywalls. As a developer, I believe that high-quality tools should be accessible to everyone for free.
What s inside HarisLab?
We Built the Tool That Lets Developers Sell Homes Before They Build Them
We're not interior designers. We're engineers who got frustrated watching a simple problem go unsolved for too long.
The problem: residential developers have been asking buyers to commit to major purchases based on 2D floor plans and brochures for decades. The solution everyone settled on was physical show units. Expensive, slow, and limited to one finish package.
Nobody Talks About Reddit as a Growth Channel. They Should.
I've spent the last year figuring out how Reddit actually works as a marketing channel.
Not the spammy way. The right way.
I learned which subreddits convert, how to write posts that don't get removed, how to start conversations that naturally lead people to your product, and how to do it all without triggering mods or looking like a bot.
The results surprised me. Reddit drove more genuine interest than any other channel I've tested.
