Built a gesture-controlled calculator a while back using MediaPipe. Extracted the detection logic into a standalone library so anyone can add gesture recognition to their project without touching CV code.
from mp_gesture_lib import GestureDetector
detector = GestureDetector() # bundled model, zero config
result = detector.detect(frame) # pass any BGR webcam frame
print(result.gesture, result.confidence)
Roam and Obsidian graphs are mostly for that wow I have so much knowledge dopamine hit. You zoom out, see the giant hairy ball, and feel profound for 5 seconds. Then you close it. Because in reality, those graphs don t do much.

Timing matters a lot. Two years ago, this market would have been too early. Two years from now, it may be too late. That is why I believe starting VertoX in 2024 was the right decision. People are only now beginning to understand the power of Voice AI and real-time translation. Even today, many people do not fully understand what it actually means. They hear the idea, but only after I explain it do they realize how powerful it can be. In 2022, it would have been too early. In 2026, it may already be crowded. But in 2024, I think we are in the middle. A golden point where the market is slowly waking up and starting to understand the problem. That is exactly where VertoX needs to be.
I m building Deep, a dating app for people tired of endless swiping and dry conversations.
Instead of scrolling through hundreds of profiles, Deep AI gives you 1 curated match every day. Every day, you get matched with someone based on personality, vibe, and compatibility no swiping needed.
Over the past few months building VERYFY, we ve had countless conversations with recruiters, hiring managers, talent partners, and employers across different industries. Different companies. Different roles. Different hiring challenges. But the same frustrations kept coming up again and again. CVs don t tell us what someone can actually do. We spend too much time filtering noise. Interviews are becoming performance theatre. It s getting harder to know who s genuinely capable. What you re about to read in this carousel are real sentiments from the people making hiring decisions every day. The industry has been quietly asking for a better way to hire.
A system built on proof, not polished claims.
Capability, not curation. That s exactly why VERYFY exists.
