As a Google Apps reseller who has a handful of Gmail accounts, having them all in the same window is a killer feature, and I'm stoked to run with this. Still learning how to list the Drive contents for each account, perhaps a tutorial YT video that shows some basic commands/tips would be useful to new users? Also a bit bummed that I can't add multiple instances of Quickbooks Online for my different companies. I guess the Windows app still runs as a "single browser instance", so I can only log into a single account at once.. I'd love to be able to hotswitch between two logged in businesses at the same time. I'd even consider paying a monthly access fee for this sort of functionality. Additionally, when I tried to initially sign up from my phone, it mentions a webapp as well as a windows app, but when I signed up on my phone using my gmail it told me there was no Linux version available?! Signing up from my Chrome browser let me download and configure the Windows standalone, but I could find no mention or access to the webapp
Haven't tried with QuickBooks, but with other apps I've simply added another instance and it's golden!
if I add another instance and log into the other account, the first one gets logged out. And refreshing the first one duplicates the account / login from the second
I haven't tried with QuickBooks (only one account there), but no issues with G Suite, Sendgrid, and Slack. Having said that, QB authentication mechanism is rather annoying at the best of times, so wouldn't surprise me if no go. I should look at what they are using and see if a way around it.
One app to rule them all and one app to find them. I was using Franz sporadically but this is much better. Unfortunately, now that I have added all the apps I use, my sidebar is cluttered and distracting. Icons for each app type (communication/design etc) with links to relevant apps might make it easier, but that will be two steps instead of one. Instead, I am finding that the search bar is my friend, which makes me think that it should be more prominent. I would get rid of the sidebar entirely and just use search & keyboard shortcuts to cycle through apps.

Franz and Station are working well together, Franz for personal chats and Station for professional apps. Regarding the cluttering of the sidebar, I agree. We are working to find a solution for that. Though, don't hesitate to abuse of the search (Cmd/Ctr+T) to quickly switch between apps without having to use the dock!
You can explore categories like "Toby", I dont mind the 2 steps insted of one scenario. What bothers me is the clutter of apps on the left. Defeats its purpose. Whats different then than a browser window?
Biggest differences I see are 1) not needing to run Chrome all day long and 2) instant access to multiple different instances of the same app (e.g. multiple G Suite email accounts, etc.). Having said that, I also concur: the sidebar is very cluttered now with so many instances added.
Looks cool. Def going to give this a swirl. Ps: love the home page design, exact same format/layout I had mentally envisioned for upcoming product.

Hey don't leave us! You can! You just add a new Gmail/Calendar/etc.. and it will ask you to connect a google account: current one, or a new one. Can you try and let me know?

Like the app. A few things jump right at me. 1. It might be nice to have the ability to add a simple web address as an app to the bar. I have an internal site I use often that would be nice to add. 2. The side bar (app bar?) is pretty small. I would like to see it be somewhere closer to 100px wide rather than 50px personally. Maybe some theme settings to please everyone? 3. I don't know that I love the sidebar popout on hover of app icons. Maybe because I haven't used the app enough for that to be a useful bar to me yet but it just feels like something always popping up that I don't care about. Maybe a slight increase on the delay so I would rarely see it unless I intended to.
I like it, only thing missing is right clicking an app to flush the RAM when I know I won't be using it.

we'd prefer you don't have to worry about that, and that we do that for you. In the future, we'll improve the page killing algorithm and maybe make its "agressivity" configurable.

Downloaded the app, really sleek design ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿฝ I'm curious to see whether or not the little lag that keeping tabs in sleep mode will annoy me in the long run ๐Ÿค” The only thing keeping me from trying it out and making the swap from Franz is the missing FB Messenger integration, is it possible to get notified when it's been integrated?
- Type in and press enter on the App you're missing on the Add Apps screen and the msg says it will notify you when it is launched
