Congrats on the ship, this looks wild — now time to move all of our internal docs to this so it's easier to get people ramped up on tools 😍
Jessica Mauerhan
@brian_lovin Woohoo! The best part is, it's going to be so fast and easy to create new Tangos for all those old docs!

This is really interesting. Two questions: So does guidance REPLACE help guides? I looked at your landing page and all the language about creating help guides is gone. Also, do my customers have to use the chrome extension to see the guide. If you could remove that it would be killer.
Andi Bailey
@helloitsolly Tango's Guides are still very much a thing, but now you can follow them on-screen in an interactive walkthrough as well. Customers will have to install the Chrome extension to follow Guidance, but we're thinking about other options for accessing Guidance!

I posted this as a review, my mistake. 1. I asked why you're moving away from documentation on your LP. You replied you're not, but the second key point on your LP is "Say goodbye to boring documentation." BTW I believe I have landed in an AB test? 2. I don't see how using this tool is better than reading documentation. Documentation can be loaded in context in the app. This requires my end user to go to Chrome, download and pin the extension and return to the product.

@helloitsolly Replying to this one too, just in case - Tango's Guides are still very much a thing, but now you can follow them on-screen in an interactive walkthrough as well. We're just increasing the options here, hopefully giving people with different learning styles other ways to follow documentation types!

@helloitsolly You're talking about your external customers? Yeah. You probably would not have all of your customers install the chrome extension. Most Tango customers use Guidance internally or with large clients where they have a lot of custom processes to teach them. For documentation, every Tango you capture still generates a beautiful how-to guide with perfectly cropped screenshots.

What a game changer! As a person who works on operations on a daily and frequently have to create process documents for training, this is a new interactive way of upskilling my team that I didn't consider. Can't wait to try out this functionality!
Jessica Mauerhan
@shannon_wade Your team is going to love it! :D Thanks so much!

As someone who works in operations, I cannot express how much of a game changer this will be for my business and the people who work for me. Thanks so much for releasing this feature!
Jessica Mauerhan
@amy_watson5 Thank you Amy, hearing how much Guidance will improve everyone's daily work gives us all so much joy! You're why we worked so hard on this :)

wow, the time saved. incredible. asynchronous workflows have always felt elusive when it comes to tutorials. really love the cross-platform feasibility, too.
Jessica Mauerhan
@sebastian_muriel1 Time saving is our jam!

Invaluable new tool for onboarding new hires, but tbh even more helpful just for myself when I keep forgetting how I “did that thing a couple months ago”
Jessica Mauerhan
@truglio Totally! So much easier than trying to write it out or remember :)

Congratulations on the launch Tango Team! Guidance looks super useful for any team that has unique processes in place that need to be adopted but both new comers and the existing team. Definitely see a lot of value in this driving up internal adoption of tools and frameworks.
Annie Ng
@syedahmedz Yes!! We're excited for how this will help teams onboard new hires. Thanks for the support Syed!
