Twitter Moments - Follow along with current events

Feels very much like the return of the 'Discover' tab, with a better design and the inclusion of video. Regardless, happy it's back.

Really looking forward to trying this out. Still waiting for mine to update with the ⚡️rollout. From what I've read I'm most interested in how Moments will help bring together live events that feel more curated and not simply in order of latest tweet. Oh... And the ⚡️ is pretty cool.

Saw moments on the twitter UI first before noticing it on PH. It's definitely a smart move for the platform, strengthening what already makes Twitter great. Really appreciated @mischa 's thoughts about being a catch-up move.

Completely agree with @mischa regarding it being a catchup move to what Snapchat has been doing with brand/event 'stories'. I think it's definitely a smart move because Twitter will always have the advantage over Snapchat in this area purely because it is a platform designed to connect you with others who you may not know (although you may share the same interests) whereas Snapchat will always be a private social network of sorts.

The logical move for me would be, to make a separation of Twitter and Moments as Apps! Personally would prefer using Moments, then Twitter.

Nice to see Twitter's approach to Storify.

Really excited to see the direction. Moments was one of the missing pieces. But it's a shame that it's US only. Any ETA on when t'll be rolled out in India?

looks like a simplified and visual representation of Twitter trending hashtags which were never useful in this form
