Twitter Moments - Follow along with current events

Will this be available in third party apps? I prefer to use TweetBot.

I'm really enjoying Twitter moments. Like-- too much.

Twitter is coming....

@gpena just announced they're opening Twitter Moments to everyone. Love it. I plan to make a LaCroix Moment as soon as I get access (hint hint)

It'll be interesting to see if brands and media are the ones who primarily use the feature or they can get enough meaningful traction from the user base, particularly the ones who have signed more recently. I'm also interested in how they implement this--will users looking to begin a tweetstorm, for example, be able to craft those tweets directly within Moments, or would they have to tweet first and then string together each individual tweet after the fact?
