That's the product I was actually looking for! For the last few months, I was trying to get feedback on the product my team is working on. But being a remote team member, I do struggle to
1) drive empathy with my team around the feedback on the product;
2) transform feedbacks into actionable insights, which are easy to understand by my team too. So your "coming soon" features seem super relevant for us.
And I do think you can add more educational content on the topic. Anyway, excited to try it out!
@aleks_muse Yes, we definitely want to make the app more educational, allowing new designers to do better interviews and better analysis. You can also imagine we can use Cassette to share examples of great interviewers and their questions, bookmarks and comments.
I love the product.
But a recurring subscription combined with capped consumption is a pretty poor pricing model in my view. Either give me subscription with flat access, or let me pay as I go by consumption.
@williamgill Hey William thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately, it's not possible for us to offer flat access since we pay for transcription out of pocket. We started out with a pay-as-you-go model but found that it disincentivized people from using the app by charging for every incremental conversation. Since we switched to monthly subscriptions, our engagement has increased many fold and has also allowed us to drop prices by as much as 66%. You can always cancel your subscription at any point or switch plans. Hope this helps!
remote interviews via app,multiple interviewees ..a webpage to collectively publish interviews with photos videos(with transcribed subtitles). The quora of interviews sort of if you can afford to maintain one,integrate with this throwable microphone at speaking events https://www.facebook.com/CatchBox/
I used this for customer interviews today and it worked great, thanks for making it. Transcription accuracy wasn't perfect but more than usable. Clean and easy to navigate quickly. Your pricing model seems fine with one gripe: It isn't obvious that the overt "Retranscribe Now" CTA button counts the added transcription against your monthly allotment. A low level subscription = 3 hours, and retranscribing a 1 hour interview at the cost of an hour is a big hit. Food for thought.
@rrhoover Dang! We would've been happy to send you a testflight build. Do try it on your next interview/important conversation and let us know what you think.

@rrhoover same here, although not college students, was interviewing practitioners and this would have been handy
