TellPip listens to your calls from your Mac (no bot joins), transcribes on-device, remembers what you promised each client and whispers the answer from your own documents when you're asked. Invisible in screen sharing. Built in Europe, with GDPR in mind.

Hi Product Hunt, I'm Edoardo, I built TellPip 👋
I built TellPip becuase I kept losing track of what I had promised people on calls. Not the big things, the small ones. "I'll send you the revised quote by friday." "We said three months, right?" Two weeks later, on the next call, I was the one scrambling.
The tools in this space didnt fit me. Most are built to get through job interviews unnoticed, and they send your voice to a cloud service. I wanted something for people who work with clients: lawyers, accountants, consultants, sales people, freelancers.
So TellPip works like this:
• Nothing joins your meeting. It listens from your Mac, on Zoom, Meet, Teams or any other app.
• Transcription happens on the Mac, with a local model that handles 25 european languages (and works offline).
• When someone asks you a question you press one key and Pip (the bird) whispers the answer, from your own documents, your price list, your past calls. Or let it answer on its own.
• After the call: decisions, commitments and the follow up email, ready in a moment.
• Next call with the same client: Pip reminds you what you promised.
• Share your screen or record the call: Pip isnt there.
• Your audio stays on your computer. Always. Transcription and search run on the Mac, nothing is indexed or stored anywhere else. And if a call shouldnt be remembered, one switch and Pip forgets it.
Its Mac only (Apple Silicon) for now. Free trial: 5 sessions of 10 minutes, no card. Solo from €25/month, Everything at €39/month during the launch.
I'm a solo founder in Italy and i'll be here all day. Ask me anything, I'd love to hear wich calls you'd use it for 🐦
PS: the code PRODUCTHUNT at sign up gives you 7 free sessions instead of 5.
which calls would you use it for?
@edoardo2 I guess every call :) What does it integrate with for "own documentation"?
Only in-app transcriptions, or also CRM?
@knolladrian Every call is the right answer :) Today "your documents" means: files you drop in (price lists, contracts, offers), Notion, Google Drive, OneDrive, SharePoint, plus everything Pip remembers from your past calls with that person. So the answer to "what did we agree on last time" comes from the calls themselves, no CRM needed for that. Which CRM do you use? I'm collecting exactly this today to decide what comes next.
It can be a good idea, but I am afraid that people will stop thinking for themselves :D
@busmark_w_nika Ha, fair worry :) In my experience it's the opposite: the thinking part is still 100% yours, Pip just takes away the part your brain is bad at anyway, like remembering that two weeks ago you promised a client a revised quote "by friday". I don't want it to talk for me, I want to stop saying "let me check and get back to you" ten times a day. Out of curiosity, which part worried you more, the whispered answers or the memory?
@busmark_w_nika haha what makes you think they haven't stopped already?! :)
@knolladrian true, I leave counting math on gpt :D
@knolladrian @busmark_w_nika Fair division of labour then: the math goes to GPT, remembering what you promised goes to Pip, and the actual thinking stays with you :) That's the deal I built it on.
I looks like a good idea. But if the other party realizes you are using this tool to search for an answer (even if it is in your own documents) they may feel like you are cheating.
Is is very different to say "let me look into my notes...ok, the total sales amount is $2400" than to say "the total amount is $2400" as if you knew the answer without any help, when that was not the case.
I still think it is a very handy tool, I would be careful on how to use it,
congrats on the launch edoardo. to your question, client calls where we agree small changes, like move the button or change the headline. those are exactly the ones i forget by friday. when it writes the follow up email, does it show where in the call each promise came from, so i can check before sending?
@agshin_rajabov Thanks! Those "move the button, change the headline" promises are exactly the ones I built this for: small enough to forget, big enough to annoy a client. The follow-up email is always a draft you read first, nothing goes out on its own. And the full transcript of the call sits right there on your Mac, so any line you want to double-check is one click away before you hit send. Which tool do you use today for those small change requests, or is it memory and Slack like it was for me?
