What’s the first thing you check when your portfolio moves?

I m Abbas, the founder of Palance. We build portfolio analytics for people who want to know why a portfolio did what it did, not just what it s worth today. Attribution, sensitivities, simulation, and an AI assistant for when you d rather ask than click.

I m curious how people actually use this stuff. When your portfolio jumps or drops, what do you reach for first? A breakdown of what drove it, a stress test, or a quick look and a deep breath? And what s the question you wish your portfolio tool could answer but can t? The weirder the better. Some of our best ideas started as this is probably too niche and turned out to be what everyone wanted.

I guess it s not just me...

We all have friends who inspire us, challenge us, and help us reach our goals. We can count them as part of our building team too =D

But alongside those friends, there are others who drain your energy, fill your brain with unnecessary info and leave you unable to continue working as you planned after meeting them!
