Quick story:

Today I was helping my little brother build a website.
He s only 12, and already an incredible chef, selling homemade food .

In the same year I left Google s Mountain View HQ where I was working on subscription experiences used by billions to pursue Murror, two engineers also left Google to build Character AI.
Their early prototype raised safety concerns, but the idea evolved into a platform where people could create virtual characters such as AI companions, assistants, or friends.
We started from similar places, but chose very different paths.
Character AI focused on moving fast to meet market demand and scale quickly, then kids committed suicide using the product.
Murror chose to move slowly prioritizing research, ethics, and user safety. We intentionally designed our AI around a butterfly symbol, as a reminder that it is a tool for reflection, not a replacement for real human relationships. This approach takes more time, and it doesn t always show immediate financial results.
Over time, the contrast between speed and responsibility has become clearer.
At Murror, money is not the starting point. It is a result that comes after doing the work carefully and responsibly.
This is a long journey.
If you are someone an investor, partner, or builder who values patience, resilience, and long-term impact, I believe this path matters. As the world becomes more complex and emotionally fragile, the need for thoughtful, ethical technology will only grow.
This is just the beginning.

I m a solo dev working on API Radar a live feed of leaked API keys and secrets found in public GitHub repos. Later today I m shipping a big rebuild of the search/detection engine, and I d love to sanity check a few things with this crowd before it goes fully live on Product Hunt.

A couple of questions for folks in security, DevOps/SRE, or backend roles:

• What s the most useful way to present this kind of data so it actually helps you fix issues? (per repo view, per provider, timelines, alerts, something else?)

• Where s the ethical line for you? The data is from public repos only, but what would make a tool like this clearly defensive and helpful rather than sketchy or abusable?

Blunt feedback is welcome on the idea, UX, or even whether this should exist at all.

The tax filing season is approaching, and it occurred to me that I haven't come across many AI tools on this platform that would solve this issue.

Maybe for the following reasons (I think):

• diversity/complexity of tax entities and legal forms of business

• international business, accounting cases differ from case to case (taking into account currencies, forms of business, tax laws)

• laws in accounting and finance change very quickly

if i use claude or codex, i constantly am screen capping to show bad padding / alignment / whatever. is there a defacto way to let claude or codex tool call to see the browser or render a page for themselves?

I'm a freelance consultant. Tried Folk, Attio, HubSpot free, Google Sheets. Never stuck with any of them. The problem wasn't the features, it was that I never went back to the tool.

So I built a CRM inside my AI assistant (Claude + MCP server + Supabase). Six contact lists, email drafting, a Chrome extension that scrapes LinkedIn profiles at $0.001 each. Total cost: $10.

The whole thing lives where I already work. That's why I actually use it.
