I could not be more excited about this product and the impact it will have on companies and freelancers alike. I’ve been on all sides - hiring flexible talent in both an agency and startup setting, and I was a freelancer myself. Based on those experiences, I can honestly say that Contra for Companies is going to shake up the flexible talent world in a major (and fantastic) way. Saying goodbye to disjointed spreadsheets, slack threads, and manual expense entries is going to make it so much easier for all of us - both freelancers and those who hire them - to do more amazing work. What I love most about Contra is that it creates a space for companies and flexible talent to work together in a way that we all enjoy and feel proud of, while also enabling everyone to scale. I wish I’d had Contra for Companies 10 years ago, and I’m so happy to share its impact with the world now!

I, like many, have felt the pain of not having a reliable, flexible talent pool to tap into when a specific project may arise. Trying (unsuccessfully) to keep track of projects and budgets in spreadsheets across our team is tough. And lastly, it’s been a struggle at previous companies with internal processes and limitations to hire the right person compliantly and quickly. Well, that’s in the past now thanks to Contra.
