DocsAlot MCP Connector - Maintain your help-center by asking Claude, Cursor or Codex
by•
Create and update your knowledge base from Claude, Codex, or any compatible MCP client. Ask DocsAlot to add a page, fix an error, or improve your help center. It finds the relevant content, makes changes, creates a new version, and publishes, all from your existing workflow. See what questions users ask in your help center, discover what’s missing, and use those insights to improve your docs and decide what to build next.

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I’m Faizan, the CEO of DocsAlot.
Today we’re launching DocsAlot MCP, so you can manage your knowledge base and help center from Claude, Codex, Cursor or another compatible MCP client.
One feature of the MCP I’ve been particularly enjoying is seeing what people ask in our docs. Our reader analytics surfaces those questions and recurring themes, helping us understand what needs a clearer explanation and what people want us to build next.
Recently, users were asking about an MCP server and how analytics works. Those questions informed our product direction and helped motivate this launch, including making those insights accessible through the official MCP integration.
You can now ask your assistant what users are struggling with, explore recurring questions, and identify gaps in your help center, then use the same workflow to improve and publish the docs.
Read more about them here.
I’d love to hear what you’d want your AI assistant to handle in your knowledge base or help center.
Woowoo! Congrats on your launch!
yo congrats faizan! the reader questions thing is lowkey the best part, do those come from the normal search too or just the ai one?
@devmatei Both.
Having pone source of truth makes sense when help docs and developer docs start growing separately. Does it also help identify outdated pages?
@alheri_murya Yes, it does. For this, once you connect the main website, github repo, and other things. It will automatically catch drifts.
The good thing about this MCP is, you won't have to pay extra since you are already using your AI. We don't charge per drift detections.
Is it designed to help teams rethink that workflow from the start?
@romainlefort Can you elaborate a bit Romain :).
Ideally it should not require any modification to existing workflow. Thats the beauty of the MCP. But would love to learn more what you have in mind.
Can an MCP update include the page version it was based on, so a human's newer edits are preserved rather than overwritten?
@transkey Yes, we have a full version control CRM on our site. So everything is append only and you can easily revert to an older version.
I think the 2nd video demonstrates that the a new version is published everytime there is an update.
love the concept of making the documentation useful to both humans and AI agents. Congratulations on the launch!
@numerbyte thanks Aditya appreciate it.
Congrats on the launch, Faizan and team! I had a great time getting to know you for our recent interview on the APIs You Won't Hate Podcast. You've got a great perspective on the problem space - I was surprised how much I learned from you during our short chat.
@irreverentmike1 Thanks so much Mike. Really appreciate your support, and you were a great host, I had a lot of fun. You extracted a bunch of internal secrets out of me as well 😅.
Looking forward for the pod to be out.
