Take a number out of your infrastructure config. Worker count, pool size, connection cap, a timeout. Then search your source for the prose that argues from it not the number, the sentences. The ones that say: because we have N of these, this limit is X.
Mine: the app server's HTTP pool is six concurrent workers. That number is well guarded. There is a unit test named after it that asserts six, and a second one checking that six plus the two background workers fit the host's memory at the per-worker ceiling. Both green, and green since the day the number changed, which was 23 July. Fifty days ago.

But they just don't really know me ,they were built around fixed schedules and generic plans, while my actual day was never that predictable.
I receive leads from three different partners, but each partner sends them in a different format.
One uses a spreadsheet, another sends them by email, and the third uses a form. It makes it difficult to create a consistent process and keep everything structured in our pipeline.
How do you handle leads coming from several partners in different formats?

I ve gotten very strong encouragement from friends in the tech industry but am finding acquiring customers difficult. I don t spam my app in communities on Facebook or Reddit, but I ll briefly mention it here and there when someone else posts or comments about using apps to help with therapeutic diets. My user growth is about 2-3 per week. If I try to ask communities to talk w people for user research, I m finding most communities will delete the post, even if I am not selling the app but want to talk with others about their pain points. My team just went through choosing an analytics tool for a pre-launch product. We found out "which tool to use" is turn out to be "what stage are you". Here are four tools we seriously evaluated:
PostHog Pros: generous free tier is awesome, session replay is a powerful feature. Cons: dashboards feel rough at small sample sizes, and the all-in-one breadth means some features are shallower than dedicated tools.
Mixpanel Pros: best-in-class funnel and retention analysis, clean UI makes non-technical teammates to easily use. Cons: gets expensive fast past the free tier, no session replay natively, event taxonomy needs discipline upfront.
Amplitude Pros: the most powerful behavioral cohorting, built for scale. Cons: you'll spend more time configuring than learning, and pricing is unacceptable for startup.
GA4 free and everyone has it, but it's built for marketing attribution, not product behavior. Fine as a complement, painful if you use it as the main lens.
Conclusion: if you only have dozens to hundreds of users, the tool choice matters less but the price matters more. We went with PostHog because replay and event in one place fits our stage. Curious what others picked at the earliest stage?
