I ve been thinking a lot about how chaotic the first phase of any project is especially for early-stage founders.

You get the idea, you get excited and then you freeze.

• Do you validate?

• Do you sketch out a landing page?

• Do you research competitors?

• Or just build something to get feedback?

Personally, I ve been experimenting with different ways to make that early direction clearer I ve journaled, built mini systems, even started working on a validation tool with a few people to help test ideas faster.

When a team revises a recurring process, the new version usually makes the next run clearer. But it can make last month s records hard to read: a question has been renamed, split into two, or removed altogether.

I ve found that treating history as something to preserve, not merely migrate, makes later reviews more honest. It forces you to distinguish what was observed then from how you would ask it now.

Building a demo is relatively straightforward, but production is a different story.

Reliability, observability, tool failures, memory, permissions, and cost all become much more important once people depend on AI agents every day.

For those who've deployed AI agents, what ended up being the biggest challenge? Was it the one you expected?

As a serial maker managing a pipeline of micro-SaaS products, I ve been analyzing launch strategies closely.

Building a good product takes immense effort from validation and architecture to design and copy. But like many builders here, I've noticed a frustrating pattern on PH sometimes:

>>Highly polished, solve-a-real-problem products end up stuck at the bottom of the daily page, while seemingly simpler tools push to the Top 3.

There s the cheesy line "with great power comes great responsibility," and I can t quite shake when I think about how many products I mentally sketch in a week. How how i can use AI to build product around it given enough time.
A running list of those I've actually sat with:
- A shared calendar that doesn't force everyone to already be on the same app
- A cab-booking flow that doesn t mean checking three apps to find the cheap one that s actually nearby
- Something that makes AI actually useful for how my kids learn, not just another screen they're on
- A means to divide group expenses and track personal finances better
- Something that tracks all the warranties and receipts so I don t lose them a year later
I know most of these exist in some form already. That knowledge has never once stopped the itch I still design my own version in my head, anyway. What really prevents these from going anywhere is bandwidth. I can only build one thing at a time, and the rest just sit in a notes app, quietly piling up.

I ve been reflecting on the global maker landscape lately, particularly around Latin America (LATAM).

On one hand, LATAM s startup ecosystem is booming fintech, B2B SaaS, and incredible builder talent are thriving across the region. On the other hand, when browsing Product Hunt, launches from LATAM-based founders (or communities built around LATAM makers) feel relatively rare compared to regions like North America, Europe, or South Asia.

It made me wonder about the underlying reasons behind this gap:

I ve noticed that many health products have a real chance of getting featured on Product Hunt.

And it makes sense. Health is the most valuable thing we have, so if a product is innovative and genuinely helpful, it should be accessible to as many people as possible.

One challenge I've been thinking about is how to measure whether an AI agent is genuinely reliable.

It's easy to know when a traditional application works correctly because the expected output is usually well defined. AI agents are different they reason, call tools, make decisions, and sometimes produce different outputs for the same task.

Before deploying an agent, how do you decide it's ready for real users?

Do you use benchmark tasks, automated evaluations, human reviewers, production metrics, or something entirely different?
