Do you work on weekends?
by•
For me, I finish the tasks I didn’t complete during the week, then try to get ahead on a few things.
And I always finish my weekend by preparing my tasks for the next week.
I know some founders completely disconnect on weekends, but I’ve never really managed to do that 😅
What about you? Do you work on weekends or completely switch off?

I am guilty of checking Slack on weekends even when I know I shouldn't 😭

@emilhansen once you open Slack, the weekend is over 😂
I try to keep weekends work-free, but I'll admit... i still get that urge to check what happened while I was offline.

@gideon_henry Do you use any specific tool to plan your week?
Depends on the week. Sometimes I grind, sometimes I disappear completely 😭

@sawyer_benjamin So no work on weekends for you? :D
I usually unplug, then randomly get motivated on Sunday evening.

@violet_amelia Sunday evening motivation hits different 😂
I love a productive Sunday, just not an accidentally-working-all-day Sunday.

@callum_robert how do you keep productive for the rest of the week? :D
I work every day! less intensely for sure, but still get stuff done.

@patricklu10 What are you working on actually
Sorry not sorry
I do, but I’m trying to stop treating weekends as two extra weekdays 😅
Building a startup makes it incredibly easy because there is always something useful you could be doing — content, product, research, talking to users.
What works better for me is keeping one small thing I genuinely want to move forward and leaving the rest alone. Otherwise Monday arrives and I’m already tired
Never been able to completely switch off😅. Even when if I have some spare time, usually will try to get ahead on tasks. But lately, weekends have felt like full work days. Not complaining, lowkey I love that =)
