I used it for two weeks and wrote a blog post about it (albeit I didnt have the U.S. Soylent, but the European version/formula) - I don't mind and it does save a lot of time - if you can get past the taste, it's not for everyone/weaklings

Looks great. Curious on the makeup of the bottles/recyclability. Its a great solve for the time/food/human issue but would be a shame if it contributed to the too many plastic bottles issue. It says highly recyclable however, would love to know the details. Will order some.

It would be great if they offered weekly or bi-weekly shipments for those who don't have a ton of storage.

I cannot wait for 2.0, had some issues with digestion of 1.1 and 1.2 hopefully this solves that

My friend gave me a 1.5 a while back and I actually really liked it. I'm not ready to replace food (I love good food) but I could definitely see this as being useful for a quick breakfast during the work week or as a snack.

Can I just replace a single meal, eg breakfast, with Soylent and keep eating normal lunch/dinner?

A lot of the hate for Soylent appears to come from folks who haven't tried it yet. Soylent 2.0 isn't bad; it may not replace actual shakes for you, but it doesn't taste bad either. It simply tastes like a custom soy version of milk.

Just tried this for the first time today - perfect post workout meal, Soylent 2.0 makes it super easy for me to get nutrition when I don't have the time to prepare a meal or get proper breakfast. Plus it tastes fine to me. Being a vegetarian, it is great meal replacement - I will try this on all days when I workout and will capture long term effects right here. Space-age food ftw !
