When we first started building Murror, I spent a lot of time studying other AI wellness apps. I tracked their features, analyzed their onboarding flows, and mapped out where we could differentiate. I thought our competitive advantage would come from being smarter, faster, or more accurate than them.

I was completely wrong about where the real competition was.

Our biggest competitor was never another AI product. It was the user doing nothing. It was the journal sitting unopened on the nightstand. It was the therapy appointment that kept getting rescheduled. It was the voice in someone's head saying "I will deal with this later."

The moment we understood this, our entire product strategy shifted. We stopped optimizing for feature comparisons and started optimizing for the moment of emotional resistance that split second when someone feels something difficult and has to choose between sitting with it or pushing it away.

Product Hunt just added a new leaderboard and it finally answers a big question: who s actually contributing to the platform?

For a long time, Streaks were the main signal of activity on Product Hunt. But streaks only showed who visited every day. Opening the site or app daily doesn t necessarily mean someone is adding enough value.

Everyone is panicking about the March 2026 Core Update.
It started rolling out on March 27 and will take up to two weeks to complete .
The spam update hit just three days earlier and finished in 19.5 hours, the fastest spam update on record .

But here's what the data actually says.

JetDigitalPro analyzed 600,000 web pages across the update period. The correlation between AI usage and ranking penalties was 0.011, effectively zero . Google isn't penalizing AI content. It's penalizing low-value content that happens to be AI-generated.

Websites relying on mass-produced AI output without human oversight saw traffic drops of 60-80% . Affiliate sites were hit hardest 71% saw negative impacts .

Quick update for anyone following along.

We launched Dictura on Mac and Windows a few days ago and the response has been great. Many people have been asking about mobile, which is perfect timing because we've been working on an iOS version for a while now, and we're almost ready.

Same concept: tap, speak, get clean text. Translation built in, same as desktop. You think in your language, the output comes out in whatever language you need. No extra steps.

Here we go again!

I started setting new goals every 3 months and then checking in on how well I was doing.

Coding agents have transformed software development. It's now possible to do in a day what used to take weeks. Features that would have gathered dust in a forgotten Jira ticket now see the light of day! This wave will keep going, making developers more and more productive.

There are still bottlenecks in the product development, but they've shifted. Writing code is no longer the constraint. Taste and judgement are, and in software, there's no place where taste and judgement are more obvious than in the UI. Crafting thoughtful, distinctive, high quality user experiences is still a constraint. No one wants their product to be perceived as a generic slop cannon.

We hit #1 Product of the Day and it's all because of you.

A month ago, we launched HappyCapy an AI workspace that runs in your browser, no setup required.

Today, we hit 10,000 users. More importantly, you told us exactly what to fix.

One thing we think is still underrated in compute platforms is observability.

A lot of infra feels simple until something breaks in production. A webhook fails, a cron job doesn t run, an AI agent gets stuck, or a function times out even though it worked fine in testing.

That is where just running code stops being enough.

In Inquir Compute, we think logs and observability are a core part of the product, because developers need more than raw output. They need context: what triggered the execution, which route or webhook was involved, how long it ran, whether it retried, and what happened right before the failure.

Ran a full SEO audit on my project today. Found out Google had 39 pages stuck in "Discovered not indexed."

What I fixed:

• Switched profile pages from force-dynamic to ISR caching

• Converted my AI agent page from client to server component so crawlers can actually see it

• Added schema markup (BreadcrumbList, Person, Organization, SoftwareApplication)

• Removed unoptimized images, enabled AVIF/WebP

• Added an About page for E-E-A-T signals

• Updated sitemap with all missing pages

Resubmitted the sitemap, checked Search Console, down to 2 not-indexed pages now. Ranking dipped temporarily but from what I've read that's normal after big changes.

Just shipped a strong Luzo update.

Today we're starting to build a Mac App.
@Pretty Prompt is coming to desktop, I am superduper excited.
The logic: We built a tool to help people craft better prompts.
It's on us to make that tool work wherever people actually work.
AI is moving to desktop. Not just in the browser. Everywhere.
For months, the number one request has been a native desktop app.
It's brand new territory for us, especially for me.
We had never built a Chrome extension before Pretty Prompt but we learned by doing.
Now, we are doing it again: Figuring it out as we go.
Pretty Prompt has 45,000 users today. And it started right here on Product Hunt.
