Extra Thursday - Chat with your inbox. Ask questions, draft, summarize – fast
Imagine if ChatGPT lived deep inside your inbox — and handled anything you asked.
Extra Thursday brings that to life. Chat with your entire inbox instead of one thread at a time. Ask broad questions, track open loops, find who’s waiting on you, and draft polished replies in seconds.
Powered by deep-context AI that reads and understands your conversations, Thursday helps you summarize, search, and send thousands of personalized emails — effortlessly.

@ryan_y How does it handle context slicing for threads with 50+ replies and attachments?

@mohsinproduct Hey Mohsin! We're currently testing between a few oss models and gpt-5, with context ranging between 200k-400k tokens, so reading a thread with 50+ replies shouldn't be a problem. Although reading attachments is not yet supported, will be soon though!

I'm trying it straight away!
First thing i'm gonna ask is "How many newsletters do I have that I can unsubscribe to?" 😂

@pavel_evteev Thanks Pavel! (1) Thursday AI is able to help prioritize emails, just chat and ask! (2) Extra Thursday actually started as a voice AI but we've rolled it back recently in favor of building out this AI email app, but we're considering building out an improved voice interface soon.

The promise of 'chatting with my inbox' instead of drowning in it is exactly what I need. I spend the first hour of every day just trying to figure out who I need to reply to and what the status of everything is. The ability to ask 'Who's waiting on me?' or 'What are the open loops from last week?' would give me so much mental clarity and save so much time. I

@chrishicken Thanks Chris! I relate, that's exactly why I built Extra Thursday. I hope you're able to give it a shot and get your morning back!
Congratulations for the launch! Tools like these deserve early support!

Congrats
Email has needed this direction for a long time. It's not just about providing AI reply suggestions, but it's about applying real thinking that considers threads, relationships, and open loops. Great job and best of luck

@ryan_y Nice. Wish you guys the best of luck - rooting for you. I was just a little cautious because your email contains so much context about who you are.

@tyrone_michael_avnit Thanks Tyrone! I totally understand the caution, we take privacy and data security very seriously.
Is this an extension for outlook, thought would be good. Where is the data stored locally?

@rishiuttamhk Thanks for the interest Rishi! Currently, we only support Gmail but may expand to Outlook in the near future. We only store what’s necessary — your name and email address for communication. Please feel free to look through our privacy policy and terms here:

Other softwares like this that I have tried fail with lots of emails . Can this handle a large volume ? like 24k emails ?

@mehulmishra6 We strive to implement smart context management, so working on large inboxes shouldn't be a problem. Go ahead and give it a shot!
Saywise
It's a great concept. One question - when you say "what if ChatGPT actually lived inside your inbox", do you actually use ChatGPT as the foundational model? Is there an option to change the base model such as Gemini or Claude?
Extra Thursday
@cksaywise Yes! We're bringing a model selector soon to Pro plans so users can select between popular models like gpt5, sonnet 4.5, and some oss options.
