Love what you’re building! Great niche with real need. 🐶 Curious how does your personalization work under the hood? 🤔

Maksym Kharchenko

@michael_ganzhenko Thanks! Long story short - we start with understanding the real struggles pet parents face in daily life (from potty training to separation anxiety). Then PawChamp learns which problems matter most for each user and tailors the experience — from AI chats and expert advice to lesson recommendations — around those needs.

It’s not just personalization by data points, but by empathy: our goal is to make it feel like PawChamp app actually “gets” your dog and his needs

Hi everyone! As a Content Manager at PawChamp, my mission is to provide highly practical, impactful, and research-driven content that truly resonates with our audience. It's essential to understand our users' needs and the daily challenges they face with their dogs in order to deliver high-quality and precise solutions.

In addition to our training courses, we have integrated an AI feature into our app that has been trained on educational materials developed in collaboration with certified dog trainers, nutritionists, and behavior specialists. Pawchie AI serves as a pocket assistant, allowing users to reach out for help whenever they need it. This makes Pawchie AI an invaluable support tool for our users.

I'm genuinely proud of the product we've developed and enjoy continuously improving it with the PawChamp team, which is a pleasure to work with. 🤗 🐶 🐾

@yuliia_horokhova Thank you, Yuliia! Your thoughtful content brings so much depth and trust to PawChamp — it’s what makes the app truly helpful for real pet parents ❤️

Alina Yashchenko

@yuliia_horokhova I’m sure our content is outstanding! and we will continue working on it to ensure it is the best it can possibly be🙌🏻

Yulia Kyshliaruk

Absolutely thrilled about our first launch on Product Hunt! My team and I worked very hard to create a cool product that will be memorable🐶

Maksym Kharchenko

@juuls Thanks, Yulia! Your design vision made PawChamp not just functional but genuinely delightful to use ❤️

Аліна Каменна

Respect for using only positive reinforcement. That matters a LOT for me ❤️

Maksym Kharchenko

@solo_unalina Thanks, Аліна! Positive reinforcement is at the heart of everything we do — happy dogs learn best when they’re understood and supported

Hey

So useful app, together with my wife we were looking for a tons of apps to teach our puppy, and this app fit in our heart with perfect match <3

@new_user___2992025ad028d9d1bccb100 Hey, Denys! The PawChamp app is designed to meet the needs of dog owners across all age groups—puppies, teens, adults, and seniors. We are committed to ensuring that every baby and Mister doggo lives their best life 🙂‍↕️.

Ann Laz

Nice work! Honestly curious: why launch on Product Hunt instead of just focusing on dog parent communities?

Kostiantyn Diadenko

We actually do both 🙂

Dog parent communities are where our mission lives day to day — but Product Hunt helps us reach a wider tech-savvy audience, get fresh feedback, and connect with people who love seeing AI used for dog training.

Nik Loniuk

Proud to be part of such a wonderful team, creating a kind and fluffy product that makes the world a better place.

Huge thanks to the Product Hunt community for your support 🙏

@loniuk the best is yet to come 🐾

@loniuk I am happy to be your teammate too )

Hi Mark @mark_opanasiuk

I noticed on LinkedIn that your profile lists the USA as your current location, but other public sources indicates that you are all the time in Ukraine. Could you please clarify where you and the PawChamp team is primarily located? It would be great to understand this better — transparency about the team always helps users feel more confident about the product. Now, I feel a bit frustrated that it looks like your team might actually be in Ukraine but marked as being in the US — that doesn’t seem fully transparent. It would be great to have some clarity

Viktoriia Stasiuk

@mark_opanasiuk  @david_brown46 Hey, I am Viktoriia from PawChamp support team. I will be happy to answer your question. Our team is a diverse mix of certified trainers and behavior specialists hailing from different corners of the world, including Ukraine, the US, and various EU countries. We take pride in this international blend, as it allows us to combine the best training practices from different cultures and perspectives. The locations listed on LinkedIn are where some of our experts work or collaborate remotely, and we want to clarify that there is absolutely no intention to mislead anyone. We are here to provide users with the most effective support in the process of training their furry companion!

Mark Opanasiuk

@david_brown46 why are you frustrated if the most of the team are in Ukraine? - Ukrainians are talented and highly motivated people that craft beatiful products amidst a war.

As a startup we have roots from Ukraine and never hid it - we are proud of our origins. As a business we operate and sell our product via proper legal companies in the USA and the EU to comply with local laws.

David Brown

@mark_opanasiuk I have no issue with the team’s roots or the fact that they’re from Ukraine — that’s totally fine. My concern is about transparency. It doesn’t feel right to present yourself in LinkedIn as being based in the USA if you are actually operate from Ukraine. Clear and honest communication matters for building trust with customers.

Peter Camp

@mark_opanasiuk  @david_brown46 If their advice leads to harm for my dog, I would consider pursuing legal remedies. Claiming a U.S. location for senior team members when they appear to be based elsewhere is a serious consumer-protection concern and may affect customers’ rights.

Andrei Yemelyanenka

Love this, Mark 👏 Really cool idea. How do you teach Pawchie to actually understand each dog not just give generic tips?

Mark Opanasiuk

@andryemel this process starts at the moment when user sign ups to PawChamp.

Each pet parent takes an onboarding quiz where answers are given about dog name, age, breed, sex, dog issues, pet owners goals, and more. All this information becomes a part of PawchieAI context that is used in chatting with the specific pet parent about his pet. Also Pawchie knows about additional context given in chats by the pet parent and his learning progress in the app. All this combined is used to customize Pawchie replies and make them more personalized to the dog and pet parent.

Adopt-a-dog month launch timing = brilliant. Love that you're making the 21-day shelter dog course free 🐾
Kostiantyn Diadenko

Thanks! It’s part of PawChamp’s mission — and by the way, it doesn’t end in October.🐶💛

Yuliia Horokhova

@liubov_ivantsev Hello Liubov! We understand that adopted dogs often require extra love, understanding, empathy, and patience from their owners. That's why we want to support people who adopt a dog from day 1. This course is applicable not just for those who adopt from shelters, but it can also benefit anyone who has recently acquired a puppy or dog of any age. It covers essential topics such as adjusting your home, basic training, and bonding techniques with your new furry companion.
